(Hyperlink to Official Landing Page for Geospatial Fabric products) These shapefiles express coordinates in Decimal Degrees using the WGS84 datum and have limited attributes in order to work more efficiently with the USGS GeoData Portal (http://cida.usgs.gov/gdp). Each feature is identified using a POI_ID, which is consistent with the COMID of the downstream-most NHDPlus flowline associated with the feature, a region identifier, an identifier that is local to the region (field name ends in "_reg"), and an identifier that is unique nationally within the Geospatial Fabric (field name ends with a "_nat"). These shapefiles do not contain parameters generally used in PRMS, MWBM, or other models.
