Link to Data in Data Basin. These data sets from the California Academy of Sciences show climate projections (temperature and precipitation) for all four seasons. From the California Academy of Sciences' metadata (for a precipitation projection): Using the simple anomaly method (modifying a historical baseline with differences or ratios projected by General Circulation Models), scientists from the California Academy of Sciences downscaled monthly total precipitation from 16 different global circulation models (GCMs). The GCMs were described in the latest Intergovernmental Panel for Climate Change (IPCC 2007) and archived at the WCRP PCMDI ( http://www-pcmdi.llnl.gov/ipcc/about_ipcc.php). Monthly total precipitation...
Link to Arizona's HabiMap viewer, which displays GIS layers relating to wildlife and habitat conservation. There are three layers showing grazing allotments, covering land managed by the Bureau of Land Management, the U.S. Forest Service and the Arizona State Land Department.
The Interactive Catchment Explorer (ICE) is a dynamic visualization interface for exploring catchment characteristics and environmental model predictions. ICE was created for resource managers and researchers to explore complex, multivariate environmental datasets and model results, to identify spatial patterns related to ecological conditions, and to prioritize locations for restoration or further study. ICE incorporates stream temperature and brook trout occurrence models for headwaters of the Northeast, including projections of the potential effects of climate change. ICE is part of the Spatial Hydro-Ecological Decision System (SHEDS).

The NorWeST webpage hosts stream temperature data and climate scenarios in a variety of user-friendly digital formats for streams and rivers across the western U.S. The temperature database was compiled from hundreds of biologists and hydrologists working for >100 resource agencies and contains >200,000,000 hourly temperature recordings at >20,000 unique stream sites. Those temperature data were used with spatial statistical network models to develop 36 historical and future climate scenarios at 1-kilometer resolution for >1,000,000 kilometers of stream.Temperature data and model outputs, registered to NHDPlus stream lines, are posted to the website after QA/QC procedures and development of the final temperature...

NorWeST The NorWeST webpage hosts stream temperature data and geospatial map outputs from a regional temperature model for the Northwest U.S. The temperature database was compiled from hundreds of biologists and hydrologists working for dozens of resource agencies and contains more than 45,000,000 hourly temperature recordings at more than 15,000 unique stream sites. These temperature data are being used with spatial statistical stream network models to develop an accurate and consistent set of climate scenarios for all streams. Temperature data and model outputs, registered to NHDPlus stream lines, are posted to the website after QA/QC procedures and development of the final temperature model within a river...

This is the primary access to the LC MAP Data Catalog tool, powered by ScienceBase. LC MAP was originally developed by the U.S. Geological Survey in coordination with the Great Northern LCC and is broadly available for ScienceBase users to share, access, and analyze common datasets. LC MAP was developed to aid resource managers share data across partners agencies and perform intensive geospatial analysis on a landscape scale. LC MAP allows users to discover, assess, edit, analyze, and model common data themes and provides powerful geospatial analysis capabilities of ArcGIS 10 and its broad array of extensions. More information about LC MAP is available at: https://www.fws.gov/science/catalog.To access the LC MAP...

Welcome to the Rocky Mountain Avian Data Center! Here you can find information resulting from a wide variety of surveys conducted by RMBO and its partners. Users can query out count data, occupancy results, density results, and generate maps of survey locations. You may want to read the Usage Tips for information and tips on running queries. If you’re a manager and wondering how you might be able to use this information please visit our Using Estimates page for more information. The Rocky Mountain Avian Data Center is designed to provide information for specific questions and therefore works best when users select multiple filters for a query.
The rivers and streams of the Southeastern United States are extremely diverse, containing numerous threatened and endangered species. In fact, southeastern rivers contain more at-risk freshwater fish and invertebrates than any other region of the country. The anthropogenic fragmentation of river habitats through dams and poorly designed culverts is one of the primary threats to aquatic species in the United States. The impact of fragmentation on aquatic species generally involves loss of access to quality habitat for one or more life stages of a species. For example, dams and impassable culverts limit the ability of anadromous fish species to reach preferred spawning habitats and prevent brook trout populations...
An online decision support tool for managers, planners, conservation practitioners and scientists. The models generating these maps are the first to take into account the ability of marshes to accrete, or keep up with, rising sea levels, in the San Francisco Bay Estuary.PRBO has generated a series of scenarios to provide a range of projections to address the uncertainty in future rates of sea-level rise and suspended sediment availability. Our maps cover the entire Estuary allowing for analyses at multiple spatial scales. This tool displays maps created at a high spatial resolution using the best available elevation data. The website will be continually updated as new data becomes availableThe tool is the first to...

CalWeedMapper is an online tool that provides maps of 210 invasive plants from the California Invasive Plant Inventory, as well as maps of suitable range in 2010 and 2050 climate for 79 species. CalWeedMapper also provides users the ability to generate reports of recommended eradication, surveillance, and containment targets based on the user’s selected area.
From USFWS service description: "This data service identifies, in general, the areas where final critical habitat exist for species that are endangered or threatened. Special protections and/or restrictions are possible in areas where federal funding, permits, licenses, authorizations or actions occur or are required. Critical habitat are areas considered essential for the conservation of a listed species. These areas provide notice to the public and land managers the importance of these areas to the conservation of the species." The data can be downloaded in a shapefile, viewed on the Fish and Wildlife Service's map viewer, or accessed through a web service. It's also possible to view the data through the ScienceBase...
This website provides information about the National Stream Internet, which had two goals: 1) refine key spatial and statistical stream software and digital databases for compatibility so that a nationally consistent analytical infrastructure exists and is easy to apply; and 2) engage a grassroots user-base in application of this infrastructure so they are empowered to create new and valuable information from stream databases anywhere in the country. This website is a hub designed to connect users with software, data, and tools for creating that information. The website can be found at: https://www.fs.fed.us/rm/boise/AWAE/projects/NationalStreamInternet.html.

The Southwestern Crown Collaborative (SWCC) brings together residents, interested citizens, business enterprises, and conservation organizations to consider creative solutions in the management of National Forests in the Blackfoot, Clearwater, and Swan River valleys. It is an open, independent, volunteer organization that encourages broad participation by all interested parties. The SWCC promotes sustainable forest management, the restoration of watersheds, science-based evaluation of management activities, and opportunities for nearby rural communities to benefit from these lands and waters. Our mission is to work towards a healthy and sustainable landscape in this region taking into account everything from local...

Developed alongside a scenario planning process, this spatially explicit analysis assesses key stressors on Great Basin systems in order to inform alternative futures. Project outputs include land cover, plant and wildlife species and community distributions, urban development, and future habitat under climate scenarios. These data are available to be explored and downloaded through a web-based portal.
