This data release includes a polygon shapefile of grid cells attributed with values representing the simulated base-flow, evapotranspiration, and groundwater-storage depletions as a percentage of hypothetical well pumpage for the 2011-2060 time period. Depletions were simulated by the Phase-Three Elkhorn-Loup Model (ELM), constructed using MODFLOW-NWT (Niswonger and others, 2011). Each polygon represents one model grid cell, with pumping specified from either layer one or layer two of the model. All values are estimates and approximations. Airborne geophysical surveys were conducted in the eastern Adirondacks from Dec. 7, 2015 - Dec. 21, 2015, by Goldak Airborne Surveys. The area was flown along a draped surface with a nominal survey height above ground of 200 meters. The flight line spacing was 250 meters for traverse lines and 2500 meters for control lines. Here we present downloadable magnetic and radiometric (gamma spectrometry) data from those surveys as image (Geotiff) and flight line data (csv format). This imagery dataset consists of 3-meter resolution, lidar-derived imagery of the Carlisle 30 x 60 minute quadrangle in Pennsylvania. The source data used to construct this imagery consists of 1-meter resolution lidar-derived digital elevation models (DEMs). The lidar source data were compiled from different acquisitions published between 2019 and 2020 and downloaded from the USGS National Map TNM Download. The data were processed using geographic information systems (GIS) software. The data is projected in WGS 1984 Web Mercator. This representation illustrates the terrain as a hillshade with contrast adjusted to highlight local relief according to a topographic position index (TPI) calculation.

This dataset consists of 122 magnetotelluric (MT) soundings collected in 2016 in the northern Harrat Rahat, located near the holy city of Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah in Saudi Arabia. These data were collected as part of a joint project between the U.S. Geological Survey and the Saudi Geological Survey examining the volcanic hazard associated with the harrat. Imaging the 3-D electrical resistivity structure of the crust and upper mantle beneath the harrat will help in understanding the magmatic system at depth.

These data represent trapping effort and captures of deer mice at Point Reyes National Seashore, Marin County, California. Deer mice were captured and marked with ear tags to allow identification of individuals. The location of captures can be used in a spatially explicit capture recapture model to estimate density of mice and how mouse density varies by site and habitat type.

This release includes aeromagnetic data collected via low-altitude helicopter flown over northeastern Washington State, centered over the town of Republic, Washington. The data were acquired between September 26, 2022 and August 21, 2023 by Precision Geosurveys, Inc. of Langley, British Columbia and processed by EDCON-PRJ, Inc. of Lakewood, Colorado, contracted by the U.S. Geological Survey and funded through the Earth Mapping Resources Initiative (EarthMRI). The survey includes gridded data from target altitude of 80-100 meters above ground level, subject to aircraft climb and descent limitations. The U.S. Geological Survey, in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Energy, conducted a study on the magnetic record contained in subsurface basalts within coreholes at the Idaho National Laboratory. Standard 1 inch paleomagnetism core samples were collected from 11 coreholes. The samples were characterized for polarity and average paleomagnetic inclinations over the entire length of the drill core. However, paleomagnetic declination data were not obtained due to the original azimuth of the drill cores not being preserved during drilling. Data were collected by the River Studies Program, Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. River Studies is an interdisciplinary river and stream assessment program. Its primary goal is to assure sufficient quantity and quality of water to maintain the natural biodiversity of aquatic ecosystems and their associated wetlands and riparian lands. The prague cluster is named for the town of Prague, Oklahoma, U.S.A. The cluster is based on a mainshock-aftershock sequence in November 2011 that was one of the early striking examples of induced seismicity in this formerly very seismically quiescent region. A dense (and well-positioned) temporary network was installed soon after the 5.6 Mw mainshock and the location calibration of this cluster is therefore exceptionally precise. Focal depths are also tightly constrained in free-depth relocations. The Pasaman cluster is named for the Pasaman Regency, a district of the West Sumatra province in Indonesia. The cluster is based on the 6.1 Mw earthquake on February 25, 2022. Many aftershocks were well-recorded at short distances; these were used in early relocations to develop the velocity model and the range of focal depths. The final version of the cluster retains only events recorded teleseismically. All events have depth control from near-source and local-distance readings.
