Evaluation of Climate Change Impacts for the Southwest U.S. and Northern Mexico Tool helps land managers visualize the projected impacts of a changing climate on birds and habitats. Birds are closely linked to climate and vegetation. Because of this, they can provide early warnings of broader changes to come. PLuMA is an interactive, online tool that allows users to: Identify climate change impacts Focus on conservation and adaptation priorities Highlight priority locations for monitoring, habitat restoration, and protection Determine priority species for monitoring Build capacity for collaboration across institutions and borders How will changing climates impact the birds and habitats of the southwestern...

This simple interface is designed to help inform conservation decisions by allowing you to explore a suite of data layers and models. You’ll find information on priority natural resources, biodiversity richness, landscape connectivity and integrity, surface waters and factors contributing to potential landscape change (sea level rise, urban development).1 Compare Key Characteristics across FloridaUse one of the tabs above to explore different combinations of key characteristics assessed at the watershed scale across the state. Click on the bars in the charts to filter the map by that class. You can combine filters across tabs and across factors within a tab. You can also display that factor on the map by clicking...

Coalbed Methane (CBM) proved reserves and cumulative production by coal basin in the United States. Proved reserves are from the Energy Information Administration's (EIA) U.S. Crude Oil, Natural Gas, and Natural Gas Liquids Reserves, 2006 Annual Report. Proved reserves are the quantities of gas that geologic and engineering data demonstrate with reasonable certainty to be recoverable in future years from known reservoirs under existing economic and operating conditions. The absolute values of proved CBM reserves for the Wind River, Forest City and Illinois basins cannot be released for reasons of confidentiality. The absolute values of proved CBM reserves for the Piceance and Gulf Coast basins are not released due...
LandScope America is an interactive map viewer that brings together maps, data, photos and stories for the purpose of providing tools and resources for conservation planning and decision-making. The map viewer displays layers for themes including: protected areas, conservation priorities, threats, plants and animals, ecosystems, energy and recreation. This web page contains a list of the sources for the data layers in the map viewer: http://www.landscope.org/about/guidelines/#Sources

This web link connects to a list of the applied science projects that were chosen by the Bureau of Reclamation to receive funding in 2011. Full proposals are included. http://www.usbr.gov/WaterSMART/lcc/2011propsals.html In addition, a PDF list of the projects (without links to their proposals) is attached here. The projects are intended to assist management decisions for the Desert and Southern Rockies Landscape Cooperatives.

The Colorado Plateau Rapid Ecoregional Assessment (REA) website contains links to the final report. Data from the report are shared through the Colorado Plateau REA Data Portal . Data portal maps are downloadable and can be viewed through map services and ArcGIS.com. The report and associated data answer the following management questions relating to land use (questions are from the final REA workplan): Future development management questions: 1. Where are areas of planned development (e.g., plans of operation, urban growth, transmission corridors, governmental planning)? 2. Where are areas of potential development (e.g., under lease), including renewable energy sites and transmission corridors and...

Project funding included data production for Montana and Idaho to help support the NWI Wetlands Mapper data download webpage and the resulting data is accessible through this web tool. GNLCC project funds did not directly go toward website development.
