This dataset is part of the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Great Lakes Coastal Wetland Restoration Assessment (GLCWRA) initiative and were used to assess the restorability of areas that historically supported coastal wetlands along the southern coastline of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. The GLCWRA initiative uses principles of geodesign to identify coastal wetland areas that have the greatest potential for habitat restoration. This dataset is part of the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Great Lakes Coastal Wetland Restoration Assessment (GLCWRA) initiative. These data represent the flowline network in the Green Bay Restoration Assessment (GBRA). It is attributed with the number of disconnections (e.g., road crossings) between the reach and Lake Ontario. The more road crossings on a flowline the more disconnected that area is from the lake and the less suitable it will be for restoration. These data help identify the condition of hydrologic separation between potential restoration areas and Lake Ontario. This data release contains one dataset and one model archive in support of the journal article, "Leveraging machine learning to automate regression model evaluations for large multi-site water-quality trend studies," by Jennifer C. Murphy and Jeffrey G. Chanat. The model archive contains scripts (run in R) to reproduce the four machine learning models (logistic regression, linear and quadratic discriminant analysis, and k-nearest neighbors) trained and tested as part of the journal article. The dataset contains the estimated probabilities for each of these models when applied to a training and test dataset.

This digital dataset contains the monthly inflows and diversions to the surface-water network in the updated Central Valley Hydrologic Model (CVHM2) for water years 1922-2019. Water supply lakes are the primary source of water for many communities in northern and western Missouri. Therefore, accurate and up-to-date estimates of lake capacity are important for managing and predicting adequate water supply. Many of the water supply lakes in Missouri were previously surveyed by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) in the early 2000s (Richards, 2013) and in 2013 (Huizinga, 2014); however, years of potential sedimentation may have resulted in reduced water storage capacity. Periodic bathymetric surveys are useful to update the area/capacity table and to determine changes in the bathymetric surface. Data were collected using an In-Situ Multi-Parameter TROLL 9500, In-Situ AquaTROLL 500, In-Situ AquaTROLL 600, or YSI EXO2 Multiparameter Sonde. Recorded parameters include water temperature, specific conductance, dissolved oxygen, pH, and reduction potential. Historic data, 1995–2000, includes hydrometer and refractometer readings.
