This dataset includes gravity observations collected on the Coconino Plateau, Arizona, from 2015 to 2019 and reductions that were used to arrive at the gravity residual reported in the associated publication (Wildermuth, 2022). Relative-gravity surveys were carried out using a ZLS Burris relative-gravity meter. Absolute gravity values were taken from the closest NGS stations and relative-gravity differences were combined with nearby absolute gravity values using a least-squared network adjustment, as implemented in the software Gravnet (Hwang, C., Wang, C., Lee, L., 2002. This data set consists 23 transient electromagnetic (TEM) soundings collected by the U.S. Geological Survey in June 2020 as part of the Umatilla Indian Reservation Geothermal Resources Assessment: Phase 2 project. TEM data were collected in 100 x 100 m loops or 40 x 40 m loops along 4 profiles in areas of interest for geothermal potential. Files included in this publication include measured TEM soundings and 1-D resistivity models.

This data set consists of 19 wideband magnetotelluric (MT) and 23 transient electromagnetic (TEM) soundings collected by the U.S. Geological Survey in June 2020 as part of the Umatilla Indian Reservation Geothermal Resources Assessment: Phase 2 project. Each MT station had 4 components, 2 orthogonal magnetic induction coils and 2 horizontal orthogonal electric dipoles. Data were collected for an average of 18 hours on a repeating schedule of alternating sampling rates of 256 samples/second for 5 hours and 50 minutes and 4096 samples/second for 10 minutes. Floodplain inundation is believed to be the dominant physical driver of an array of ecosystem patterns and processes in the Upper Mississippi River System (UMRS). Here, we present the relative elevation of a slope-detrended floodplain terrain surface and river mile location used to map surface water depths derived from gaging locations along UMRS, as described in Van Appledorn et al. (2021; doi: 10.1002/rra.3628). We excluded areas permanently wetted (aquatic areas), surfaces in agricultural production, roads, and developed areas. The data are intended for use in geospatial analyses of UMRS floodplain ecosystem patterns and processes.

These data have been collected by a collaborative and coordinated research network, SPARCnet (Salamander Population and Adaptation Research Collaboration network). We collected these data to examine patterns in seasonal and latitudinal variation in population density. This data can be used to estimate local salamander biomass, correcting for imperfect detection, and then compare these to estimates of biomass for other vertebrate species in North America that are known to have out-sized roles in ecosystem processes.

This dataset is support materials for the publication "Crop type classification, trends, and patterns of central California agricultural fields from 2005 – 2020". This data release is comprised of two child datasets. The first dataset, 'Labeled_CropType_Points', is a shapefile that consists of randomly selected point locations in which crop types were verified using high resolution imagery for each examined year across the study period (2005 - 2020). The second dataset, 'Central_CA_Classified_Croplands', is also a shapefile, but contains polygons of 9 classified crop types derived from a random forest machine learning classifier for central California for each examined year across the study period (2005 - 2020).
