Surface-based 2D electrical resistivity tomography (ERT) surveys were used to investigate the distribution of permafrost at wetland sites on the alluvial plain north of the Tanana River, 20 km southwest of Fairbanks, Alaska, in June and September 2014. The sites contained habitat types characteristic of interior Alaska, including thermokarst bog, forested permafrost plateau, and a rich fen. These habitats range from treed to open and vary in groundcover vegetation and peat thickness. Individual surveys used a cable with 56 electrodes at 2-m spacing. Pollen was measured in ambient air by several methods and in wet atmospheric deposition samples at three monitoring sites in the National Atmospheric Deposition Program (NADP) National Trends Network. A method for counting pollen on filters was developed and provided pollen counts for NADP atmospheric wet-deposition samples and high-volume ambient air samplers (HVAS) for comparison with co-located traditional microscopy and PollenSense sensor counting methods during the 2021 pollen season. The U.S. Geological Survey maintains a program of water-quality studies in San Francisco Bay (CA) that began in 1969. This USGS data release archives and makes available all measurements from 1969-2015. Water-quality constituent measurements include salinity, temperature, light attenuation coefficient, and concentrations of chlorophyll-a, dissolved oxygen, suspended particulate matter, and dissolved inorganic nutrients (nitrate, nitrite, ammonium, phosphate and silicate). This dataset contains passive seismic data collected using a three-component seismometer during 2018-2020 at Pinnacles National Park, California. The data were acquired for the purpose of estimating depth to the bedrock surface underlying alluvial deposits, using the horizontal-to-vertical spectral ratio (HVSR) technique. Data were collected along ten transects, with 3 to 14 points collected along each transect, and at the locations of 6 existing or abandoned wells. Silver nanoparticles (AgNP) are one type of contaminant that can enter treatment wetlands (Wiesner 2006) and impact the overall treatment efficacy. Grazing by filter feeding zooplankton, such as Daphnia magna, is critical to treatment wetland functioning (Ismail 2019), but the effects of AgNP on zooplankton are not fully understood, especially at environmentally relevant concentrations. In this study, the bioaccumulation kinetics of dissolved and nanoparticulate Ag in D. magna exposed to environmentally relevant Ag concentrations were characterized using isotopically labelled Ag as a tracer.
