Shows east cliff exposing glacial drift, upper columnar basalt, Tower Creek congolmerate (Pliocene ?) resting on early basic volcanic breccia (Miocene). The lower columnar basalt overlying the latter farther south wedges out at right out of view. In the partly wooded cliff at left the upper basalt has been removed by erosion and the lower basalt is again explosed by eastward shift of the canyon wall. Granite Ridge in back.
