Investigations of coastal change and coastal resources often require continuous elevation profiles from the seafloor to coastal terrestrial landscapes. Differences in elevation data collection in the terrestrial and marine environments result in separate elevation products that may not share a vertical datum. This data release contains the assimilation of multiple elevation products into a continuous digital elevation model at a resolution of 3-arcseconds (approximately 90 meters) from the terrestrial landscape to the seafloor for the contiguous U.S., focused on the coastal interface. This digital publication, GPR 2008-1, contains geophysical data and a digital elevation model that were produced from airborne geophysical surveys conducted in 2007 for part of the western Fortymile mining district, east-central Alaska. Aeromagnetic and electromagnetic data were acquired for 250 sq miles during the helicopter-based survey. Water surface elevations within seven Willamette River off-channel features (OCF; alcoves and side channels) were measured using submerged pressure transducers. Transducers were installed from late May through mid-October, 2016, when discharge of the Willamette River was between approximately 5,500 and 45,000 cubic feet per second at Salem, Oregon (USGS gage 14191000) and 3,500 to 17,500 cubic feet per second at Harrisburg, Oregon (USGS gage 14166000). This map illustrates extents and types of unconsolidated deposits and bedrock in the Big Delta A-4 Quadrangle, Alaska. This map is based on field observations begun by P�w� in 1949 and by Reger in 1976. Unit characteristics and extents were determined during field visits and by interpreting 1:40,000-scale black-and-white aerial photographs taken in August 1949 and 1:63,360-scale, false-color infrared aerial photographs taken in July 1978, August 1980, and August 1981.
The Hudson Shelf Valley is the submerged seaward extension of the ancestral Hudson River drainage system and is the largest physiographic feature on the Middle Atlantic continental shelf. The valley begins offshore of New York and New Jersey at about 30-meter (m) water depth, runs southerly and then southeasterly across the Continental Shelf, and terminates on the outer shelf at about 85-m water depth landward of the head of the Hudson Canyon. Nitrogen, phosphorus, and suspended-sediment loads, and changes in loads, in major rivers across the Chesapeake Bay watershed have been calculated using monitoring data from the Chesapeake Bay River Input Monitoring Network (RIM) stations for the period 1985 through 2019. Nutrient and suspended-sediment loads and changes in loads were determined by applying a weighted regression approach called WRTDS (Weighted Regression on Time, Discharge, and Season). The load results represent the total mass of nitrogen, phosphorus, and suspended sediment that was exported from each of the RIM watersheds.

These data are part of a preliminary report based on the 22-day, two-phase, 2004 Bristol Bay-Alaska Peninsula field program. The program's first phase focused on source rock potential of the Mesozoic section, and the second phase focused on reservoir potential and stratigraphic architecture of Tertiary rocks. Data included here are rock sample details, field sample locations, total organic carbon measurements, and porosity and permeability analysis results.
The data contained in this file is one of several datasets produced in support of the project entitled “Classification and Mapping of Cave and Karst Resources” for the region encompassing the Appalachian Landscape Conservation Cooperative (LCC). The results of this project are divided into a series of geospatial information layers (shapefiles and raster data). The files provide a comprehensive overview of data availability on obligate cave-dwelling fauna and bat ranges useful for examining relationships between environmental factors and biological diversity and distribution within karst areas of the Appalachian LCC.

Land management practices often directly alter vegetation structure and composition, but the degree to which ecological processes such as herbivory interact with management to influence biodiversity is less well understood.
