The U.S. Inland Creel and Angler Survey Catalog (CreelCat): A Database and Interactive Tool for Inland Fisheries Management and Research The U.S. Inland Creel and Angler Survey Catalog (CreelCat) contains data compiled from 14,729 creel and angler surveys conducted by state natural resource management agencies (including Washington DC and Puerto Rico) in inland waters across the United States. The airborne survey was jointly funded by the Earth Mapping Resources Initiative and Kennecott Exploration Company. The survey was designed to meet complementary needs related to geologic mapping and characterization of mineral resource potential. A total of 34,041 line km of magnetic and radiometric data were acquired over an irregular-shaped area of 6178 km. The mineral species and their abundances are reported in weight percent and values have been normalized to total 100 percent for each sample. The X-ray diffraction results show that the mineral samples from the wellheads are primarily composed of ammonium (NH4+) sulfate minerals and sassolite B(OH)3, whereas sulfide minerals such as cinnabar and pyrite are the most abundant minerals observed in the power plants.
