These data are high-resolution bathymetry (riverbed elevation) and depth-averaged velocities in comma-delimited table format, generated from hydrographic and velocimetric surveys near highway bridge structures over the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers near St. Louis, Missouri, August 3–10, 2020. Hydrographic data were collected using a high-resolution multibeam echosounder mapping system (MBMS), which consists of a multibeam echosounder (MBES) and an inertial navigation system (INS) mounted on a marine survey vessel. Data were collected as the vessel traversed the river along planned survey lines distributed throughout the reach. Data collection software integrated and stored the depth data from the MBES and the...
These data are high-resolution bathymetry (riverbed elevation) and depth-averaged velocities in ASCII format, generated from hydrographic and velocimetric surveys of the Missouri River near Structure G0069 on Missouri State Highway 240 at Glasgow, Missouri, in 2011, 2013, and 2017. Data collection software integrated and stored the depth data from the MBES and the horizontal and...
These geospatial data were collected during the August 10, 2016 topographic and hydrographic survey of the Musselshell River at S-300 at Ryegate, MT.
Discharge measurements and velocity mapping surveys were completed at select tie channels located at Nimz Ranch, on the main-stem Kootenai River. Tie channels convey water and sediments between the main river channel and river floodplain waterbodies. The velocity mapping surveys are used to document how the tie channels interact with the main-stem Kootenai River. Similar surveys will be conducted following project construction completion (after 2021). Velocity mapping provides data to support the flow split estimates in the tie channel reconnection. These mapping efforts are a quantitative assessment of the the tie channels role in altering drift, temperature, and floodplain storage. An acoustic Doppler current...
These data are night level totals of bat calls by species and phonic group recorded at Fort Knox, Kentucky during the summer of 2017. Data contain recordings from zero-crossing frequency division and full spectrum receiving units.

These data are high-resolution bathymetry (riverbed elevation) and depth-averaged velocities in ASCII format, generated from hydrographic and velocimetric surveys of the Missouri River near dual bridges structure A4557 on Missouri State Highway 370 near St. Louis, Missouri, in 2010, 2011, and 2016. Data collection software integrated and stored the depth data from the MBES and...
These data are high-resolution bathymetry (riverbed elevation) and depth-averaged velocities in ASCII format, generated from hydrographic and velocimetric surveys of the Mississippi River near structures A4936/A1850 on Interstate 255 near St. Louis, Missouri, in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2016. These geospatial data were collected during the August 11 and September 12, 2016 topographic and hydrographic survey of the Two Medicine River at US-89 near Browning, MT.
These geospatial data were collected during the September 22, 2016, topographic and hydrographic survey of Smith Branch at S-126, at Columbia, SC.
A bathymetric survey of Nimrod Lake, Arkansas, was conducted in late April to mid-May, 2016, by the Lower Mississippi-Gulf Water Science Center (LMG WSC) of the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) using methodologies for sonar surveys similar to those described by Wilson and Richards (2006) and Richards and Huizinga (2018). Point data from the bathymetric survey were merged with point data from an aerial LiDAR survey conducted in December, 2010, that were provided by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Little Rock District. From the combined point dataset, a terrain dataset (a type of triangulated irregular network, or TIN, model) was created in Esri ArcGIS, version 10.5, for the area within the approximate extent...
