Samples of invasive species are presenting -- falling within 4 categories (exotic, annual grasses, noxious forbs, and woody riparian). Bioclimate data for cheatgrass and tamarisk weed is also shown. The input dataset used for all analysis done for these models are also included. These data are provided by Bureau of Land Management (BLM) "as is" and may contain errors or omissions. This Phase II project will complete the funding needs for the modeling and product components to revise existing priority protection and restoration watersheds for 5-7 aquatic species guilds and 4-8 priority aquatic species across the Grassland Ecosystem. The project will utilize and update the original model platform used to create the first priorities for the Great Plains Fish Habitat Partnership (GPFHP) in 2011 and utilize input from the Partners Council fishery experts of the GPFHP, which is composed of twenty state and federal agencies and nonprofits focused on aquatic conservation in the Great Plains as well as meet Grasslands Initiative goals. The stream systems of Hawai‘i are unique and home to many rare species, including five native fish and five native shellfish. These native species have amphidromous life cycles, meaning that they spend part of their lives in the ocean and part in freshwater streams. Stream flow serves as a vital natural pathway, connecting saltwater and freshwater habitats so that these animals can migrate between them and carry out critical life stages (e.g., development, reproduction). This project will build upon a recently completed synthesis product for the Southwest and review and analyze vulnerability assessments of aquatic species and habitats within the Southern Rockies Landscape Conservation Cooperative. Southwestern riparian systems support a disproportionate amount of the regional biodiversity and are likely to be strongly affected by changes in climate with a concordant disproportionate effect on surrounding landscapes and features.
