Raster dataset (30m resolution mask containing only "1" values) matching the 1 km resolution reporting units grid created for the Colorado Plateau Ecoregion. This dataset was used in the Utah-Colorado Plateau REA Stepdown terrestrial intactness analysis for summarizing raster input data to 1 km reporting units.

This raster dataset represents Places II: Specially Designated Areas of Ecological and Cultural Value within the Mojave Basin and Range. These sites represent legally protected lands and waters. Plus lands that have been identified as known recovery lands (e.g. critical habitat recommended for recovery of Desert Tortoise and recovery units identified for the CA red legged frog).

This simple assessment layer is used to answer management questions (MQs) about which high biodiversity sites (HBS) will experience significant climate change in the near future scenario in the Mojave Basin and Range Ecoregion. This is a basic intersect of areas that will likely experience significant climate change effects with the areas that have been identified by previous 3rd party analyses as having extraordinary biodiversity. It does not model actual response or condition of the HBS to climate change. Nearly all HBS in the ecoregion will experience significant effects according to the criteria that were selected. The climate space trends data layer was used to ascertain areas of significant climate changes....

This data set represents the GIS Version of the Public Land Survey System including both rectangular and non-rectangular surveys. The primary source for the data is cadastral survey records housed by the BLM supplemented with local records and geographic control coordinates from states, counties as well as other federal agencies such as the USGS and USFS. The data has been converted from source documents to digital form and transferred into a GIS format that is compliant with FGDC Cadastral Data Content Standards and Guidelines for publication. This data is optimized for data publication and sharing rather than for specific "production" or operation and maintenance. This data set includes the following: PLSS Fully...

Humans have dramatically altered wildlands in the western United States over the past 100 years by using these lands and the resources they provide. Anthropogenic changes to the landscape, such as urban expansion, construction of roads, power lines, and other networks and land uses necessary to maintain human populations influence the number and kinds of plants and wildlife that remain. We developed the map of the human footprint for the western United States from an analysis of 14 landscape structure and anthropogenic features: human habitation, interstate highways, federal and state highways, secondary roads, railroads, irrigation canals, power lines, linear feature densities, agricultural land, campgrounds, highway...

National Parks, Preserves and Wildlife Refuges, State Parks and Wild and Scenic Rivers in the YKL region. These data are provided by Bureau of Land Management (BLM) "as is" and may contain errors or omissions. The User assumes the entire risk associated with its use of these data and bears all responsibility in determining whether these data are fit for the User's intended use. These data may not have the accuracy, resolution, completeness, timeliness, or other characteristics appropriate for applications that potential users of the data may contemplate. The User is encouraged to carefully consider the content of the metadata file associated with these data. The BLM should be cited as the data source in any products...

These are the boundaries of current Land Use Plans. Represents the spatial extent and boundaries for existing BLM Land Use Planning Area (LUPA) polygons. Land Use Planning Areas are geographic areas within which the BLM will make decisions during a land use planning effort. Land Use Planning Area Boundaries shift from an "in-progress" status and become Existing Land Use Planning Areas when the Land Use Plan has been approvided and a Record of Decision Date has been established. At this point, these LUPAs are officially "existing".

A region polygon dataset categorizing land in terms of ecological significance and status of protection in the Central Basin and Range (CBR) Rapid Ecoregional Assessment. This dataset identifies lands that have been identified as ecologically significant to biodiveristy but not yet legally protected (Places I - Sites of High Biodiversity), lands that have some type of protection status, often federal or state (Places II - Specially Designated Areas of Ecological and/or Cultural Value), and lands that may be ecologically significant but are managed for multiple use (Places III – Other Managed Lands).

The Wyoming Basin Rapid Ecoregional Assessment project area is defined by all 5th level watersheds (HUC10) that intersect the boundary of the Wyoming Basin Ecoregion. All other datasets used for Wyoming Basing Rapid Ecoregional Assessment are clipped to this boundary.

This data was created by the CPW GIS Unit. Property boundaries are created by dissolving CDOWParcels by the property name, and property type and appending State Park boundaries designated as having public access. All parcel data correspond to legal transactions made by the CPW Real Estate Unit. The boundaries of the CDOW Parcels were digitized using metes and bounds, BLM's GCDB dataset, the PLSS dataset (where the GCDB dataset was unavailable) and using existing digital data on the boundaries.

Regional range allotment coverage of Region 2, Rocky Mountain Region, USDA Forest Service. The regional coverage reflects the range allotment data from each of the National Forests and Grasslands within the region. The regional allotment coverage was compiled by the Regional Office's Geospatial Services office by using the range allotment data provided by the Forests/Grasslands within the region, joining the infra view (II_RGE_RMU_V) to the spatial data based on the control number (cn) or allotment identifier (based on a specific adminstrative organization identifier). The Forest/Grassland data were exported to individual shapefiles. All the attribute tables were edited to contain the same items. All of the shapefiles...

This is Arizona Bureau of Land Management (BLM) statewide grazing allotment data. This polygon feature class depicts the boundaries of the livestock grazing allotments located within the Arizona BLM, Arizona, USA. Each allotment has one or more pastures. In some cases, this layer identifies the BLM managed public land or other land associated with specific grazing allotments administered by the local BLM field office. Boundaries may be fences, arbitrary lines, or natural barriers. Agency management of polygons within this feature class is not specific to BLM; other agencies are also included.
