Time 4 days, 23 hr 45 minutes (?) 418 miles, Nome to Candle Creek and return. 1st prize $2500.00 entries 10 teams, 9 days each 18 hrs delay on account of blizzard en route. Team sold after race $1,700. Driver receieved $500 for driving team in race also presented with a prize money by owner making a total of $3000. Index card: Seward Peninsula, Nome district. Winning dog team and driver on Fairbanks to Candle Creek and return.
