The Preliminary Digital Geologic Map of the Buffalo 30' x 60' shows the geologic and structural features within the Buffalo quadrangle. It is a scanned and vectorized version of the paper geologic map series developed by the Wyoming Geological Survey, which provides basic geologic information superimposed on a metric topographic base. The base includes topographic contours at 20 meter (65.6 feet) intervals and a township and range grid which is divided into square miles (sections). Cultural features including towns, cities, unimproved roads, highways, railroads, and powerlines are also included, as are major streams, drainages, and lakes.
