This data set contains imagery from the National Agriculture Imagery Program (NAIP). The NAIP program is administered by USDA FSA and has been established to support two main FSA strategic goals centered on agricultural production. These are, increase stewardship of America's natural resources while enhancing the environment, and to ensure commodities are procured and distributed effectively and efficiently to increase food security. The NAIP program supports these goals by acquiring and providing ortho imagery that has been collected during the agricultural growing season in the U.S. The NAIP ortho imagery is tailored to meet FSA requirements and is a fundamental tool used to support FSA farm and conservation programs....
This landing page contains peak-flow frequency analyses by the U.S. Geological Survey Wyoming - Montana Water Science Center. Sets of analyses are published as data releases which are child items to this landing page.

Data was acquired during aerial surveys conducted by Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks (FWP) between 1977 and 2005. The aerial surveys were conducted annually to count and classify mule deer in the area. Data are used by Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks in their management responsibilities to set hunting seasons, determine population trends, and identify critical habitats. Observations were recorded on data forms and locations either plotted on USFS Maps (Deerlodge National Forest) or recorded by specific location. The data represents spring observations of mule deer. It is not intended to represent overall or annual distribution. Each individual observation represents one or more animals. Density of observations...

This file (wymt_ffa_2016A_WATSTORE.txt) contains peak flow data for 14 streamgages in the Beaverhead River and Clark Fork Basins. The file is in a text format called WATSTORE (National Water Data Storage and Retrieval System) available from NWISWeb (http://nwis.waterdata.usgs.gov/usa/nwis/peak).
In 2019, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), in cooperation with the National Park Service, initiated a study using surrogate technology to predict real-time metallic-contaminant concentrations (MCCs) in the Clark Fork at two USGS streamgages that bracket Grant-Kohrs Ranch National Historic Site (GRKO) near Deer Lodge, Montana. Clark Fork at Deer Lodge(streamgage 12324200), Mont., about one mile upstream from GRKO, and Clark Fork above Little Blackfoot River near Garrison (streamgage 12324400), Mont., about 12 miles downstream from GRKO property were instrumented with turbidity and acoustic sensors for monitoring the Clark Fork during National Park Service Superfund remediation activities. Time-series data from backscatter...

Data was acquire during aerial and ground surveys conducted by Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks from 1988 through 2004 in bighorn sheep hunting districts 210, 213, and 216. The aerial surveys were conducted annually to count and classify bighorn sheep in the area. Data are used by FWP in their management responsibilities to set hunting seasons, determine trends, and identifies critical habitats. Observations were recorded on data forms and locations either plotted on USFS Maps (Deer lodge National Forest) orecorded by specific location. The data represents winter observations of bighorn sheep. It is not intended to represent overall or annual distribution. Each individual observation represents one or more animals....
