This study deployed acoustic telemetry at the Fox River Navigational System Authority (FRNSA) in lock #2 and the upstream and downstream pools in Kaukauna, WI to document movements and behavior of telemetered fish species in response to injection of carbon dioxide. Telemetry equipment was setup in the test area for approximately 2 months during the summer of 2019. CSV metadata includes telemetry data with position estimates for fish during this time.

The storage assessment unit (SAU) is the fundamental unit used in the National Assessment of Geologic Carbon Dioxide Storage Resources project for the assessment of geologic CO2 storage resources. The SAU is shown here as a geographic boundary interpreted, defined, and mapped by the geologist responsible for the assessment interval. Individual SAUs are defined on the basis of common geologic and hydrologic characteristics. The resource that is assessed is the mass of CO2 that can be stored in the technically accessible pore volume of a storage formation. The technically accessible storage resource is one that may be available using present-day geological and engineering knowledge and technology for CO2 injection...

This data release includes metadata and tabular data that documents the survival of fish or invertebrate exposed to carbon dioxide (CO2) gas treatment during aquarium trials. Aquarium trials were conducted with six taxa: guppies (Poecilia reticulata), western mosquitofish (Gambusia affinis), Mozambique tilapia (Oreochromis mossambicus), Opae ula shrimp (Halocaridina rubra), feeble shrimp (Palaemon debilis) and a species of thiarid snail (Thiaridae). These results were part of a larger study aimed to test the efficacy of CO2 as a tool for managing invasive fish in anchialine pools.

This data release includes metadata and tabular data that documents changes in pH of anchialine pool water before, during and after diffusion of carbon dioxide (CO2) gas. These results are part of a study testing the efficacy of CO2 as tool for eradicating invasive fish from anchialine pools. The trials were conducted at Puuhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park and Kaloko-Honokohau National Historical Park, Hawaii, during 2021-2022.

This data release includes metadata and tabular data that documents the behavioral response of three species of fish invasive to Hawaii ( tilapia [Oreochromis mosambicus], western mosquitofish [Gambusia affinis] and guppies [Poecilia reticulata]) during aquarium trials testing the efficacy of carbon dioxide (CO2) diffused in water to manage invasive fish in anchialine pools. The work was conducted during 2020.

This data release includes metadata and tabular data that documents lab and field trials testing the efficacy of carbon dioxide (CO2) gas diffused into water to manage invasive fish in anchialine pools. The data release also includes information documenting sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy of quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) assays to detect environmental DNA (eDNA) from tilapia (Oreochromis mosambicus), western mosquitofish (Gambusia affinis) and guppies (Poecilia reticulata). In total there are 11 datasets, 9 describing lab trials and 2 describing field trials. Lab data include 1) initial water conditions during pilot study, 2) behavioral response of fish to CO2 during pilot study, 3) survival...
This report describes the progress made by the Integrated Ecosystem Model (IEM) for Alaska and Northwest Canada Project for the full duration of the project (September 1, 2011 through August 31, 2016).This primary goal in this project was to develop the IEM modeling framework to integrate the driving components for and the interactions among disturbance regimes, permafrost dynamics, hydrology, and vegetation succession/migration for Alaska and Northwest Canada. The major activities of the project include (1) development and delivery of input data sets, (2) model coupling, (3) evaluation and applications of fire and vegetation dynamics, (4) evaluation and application of ecosystem carbon and energy balance, (5) evaluation...

This data release contains model inputs used to estimate surface water greenhouse gas fluxes from two large arid reservoirs, Lake Powell and Lake Mead. The release also contains empirical, spatially explicit water quality and greenhouse gas data from a single field survey conducted in Lake Powell in July of 2017. Finally, this release contains surface area estimates of shallow (< 15m) tributary regions of Lake Powell under different water level scenarios.

This data release includes metadata and tabular data that documents the total body length of Mozambique tilapia (Oreochromis mossambicus) removed from anchialine pools during field trials testing the efficacy of carbon dioxide (CO2) gas as tool for eradicating invasive fish. Tilapia were removed from a pool at Puuhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park, Hawaii during 2021-2022.

The Alaska Geochemical Database Version 4.0 (AGDB4) contains geochemical data compilations in which each geologic material sample has one best value determination for each analyzed species, greatly improving efficiency of use. The relational database includes historical geochemical data archived in the USGS National Geochemical Database (NGDB), the Atomic Energy Commission National Uranium Resource Evaluation (NURE) Hydrogeochemical and Stream Sediment Reconnaissance databases, and the Alaska Division of Geological and Geophysical Surveys (DGGS) Geochemistry database. Data from the U.S. Bureau of Mines and the U.S. Bureau of Land Management are included as well. The data tables describe historical and new quantitative...
