Topographic point clouds for the Mud Creek landslide, Big Sur, California from structure-from-motion photogrammetry from aerial photographs

This data release contains structure-from-motion (SfM) point cloud data from aerial surveys conducted over the Mud Creek landslide on Big Sur from 1967-2018. Data sources include scanned aerial photographs, digital images collected from fixed wing aircraft, and digital images collected from multirotor UAS.

Environmental Sensitivity Index - Southeast Alaska

This data set contains vector lines and polygons representing the shoreline and coastal habitats of Southeast Alaska classified according to the Environmental Sensitivity Index (ESI) classification system. This data set comprises a portion of the ESI for Southeast Alaska. ESI data characterize the marine and coastal environments and wildlife by their sensitivity to spilled oil. The ESI data include information for three main components: shoreline habitats, sensitive biological resources, and human-use resources

Structure-from-motion point cloud of Mud Creek, Big Sur, California, 2017-10-12

Presented here is a point cloud collected by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) using a UAS-mounted camera system, covering the area of the Mud Creek landslide on California State Route 1 (SR1), Mud Creek, Big Sur, California. The point cloud is referenced to previously published lidar data and contains RGB information as well as XYZ. Point cloud coordinates are in NAD83 UTM Zone 10 meters. Imagery was collected with a Ricoh GR camera in DNG format and processed using structure-from-motion photogrammetry with Agisoft PhotoScan version 1.2.8 through 1.3.2. Pointclouds were clipped to an AOI using LASTools. The AOI was created from a KMZ in Google Earth and transformed to a shapefile using ArcMap 10.5.

Submerged aquatic vegetation and environmental data along a salinity gradient in Barataria Bay, Louisiana (2015)

This data set includes bi-monthly data on submerged aquatic vegetation species composition, percent cover, above and below ground biomass and environmental data at coastal sites across the fresh to saline gradient in Barataria Bay, LA. This project was co-funded by the Gulf Coast Prairie and the Gulf Coastal Plains and Ozarks Landscape Conservation Cooperatives and the South Central Climate Adaptation Science Center. BLM REA SNK 2010 Aquatic Coarse Filter: Estuary

This dataset was developed for the BLM-Rapid Ecoregional Assessment (REA) project for the Seward Peninsula - Nulato Hills - Kotzebue Sound Lowlands. This datasets represents all the Aquatic Coarse Filter Estuaries for the project area. The NOAA Environmental Sensitivity Index (ESI) for Northwest Arctic and Western Alaska contains shoreline data that were used to create the estuary line file.
