This data release contains the inputs and outputs from the development of Escherichia coli (E. coli) concentration models for the four Missouri River sites near Omaha, Nebraska. Model development, models, and results are published in the associated U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) report Densmore and others, 2020. Load Estimator models (LOADEST) (Runkel and others, 2004) were developed from the first 5 years of data (July 2012–September 2016). Sites include Missouri River at NP Dodge Park at Omaha, Nebr. (USGS Site ID 412126095565201), Missouri River at Freedom Park Omaha, Nebr. (USGS Site ID 411636095535104), Missouri River near Council Bluffs, Iowa (USGS Site ID 06610505), and Missouri River near La Platte, Nebr....

These datasets are outputs from LOADEST regression models for estimating Escherichia coli (E. coli) concentration in the Missouri River at four sites near Omaha, Nebraska. The datasets described by this metadata are yearly (both water year, Mar - Nov, and recreation season, May - Sept) and daily E. coli concentrations predicted using developed LOADEST models. The development of LOADEST regression models at each of the four sites is described in Densmore and others, 2020. These data sets are in .csv format. The files are named Yearly_Ecoli_Predictions.csv and Daily_Ecoli_Predictions.csv. Sites include Missouri River at NP Dodge Park at Omaha, Nebr. (USGS Site ID 412126095565201), Missouri River at Freedom Park Omaha,...

These datasets are inputs to LOADEST regression models for estimating E. coli concentration in the Missouri River at four sites near Omaha, Nebraska. The datasets described by this metadata are daily data and include precipitation data and Long Term Control Plan (LTCP) progress (projects completed and combined sewer overflows [CSO] upstream of the sampling site) data. These data sets are in .csv format. Some model inputs are not included in this data release because they are published elsewhere (National Water Information System- web interface https://waterdata.usgs.gov/nwis). The file Daily_and API_Precip_Variables.csv contains daily precipitation from January 1, 2012 through October 1, 2016 for the National Weather...
