This simulated ecosystem carbon dataset is used to report terrestrial carbon balance of the Nisqually River basin in the Ecological Modelling paper "Modeling watershed carbon dynamics as affected by land cover change and soil erosion" The data is derived from simulations of the LUCAS model. Annual carbon variables of 2017 at 30m spatial resolution with 2426 rows and 2459 columns. Carbon stock and flux units are in kgC/m2 and kgC/m2/yr, respectively. Peak ground velocity (PGV) gridded probabilistic seismic hazard data for the updated 2018 National Seismic Hazard Model (NSHM) for the Conterminous United States (CONUS). PGV hazard curves and ground motions have been calculated on a 0.05 by 0.05 degree grid using the NSHM CONUS 2018 earthquake source model. PGV support has been incorporated into the NSHM using a newly developed PGV model conditioned on pseudo-spectral acceleration (Abrahamson and Bhasin, 2020, PEER Report No. 2020/05). See Powers et al. This dataset summarizes impairment status for HUC12 watersheds at the CONUS scale using the EPA publicly available Assessment, Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) Tracking and Implementation System (ATTAINS) geospatial package and the USGS Watershed Boundary Dataset (WBD). ATTAINS is an online system maintained by the EPA containing information about the condition of the Nation’s surface waters, as reported by individual states. The Bing Maps team at Microsoft released a U.S.-wide vector building dataset in 2018, which includes over 125 million building footprints for all 50 states in GeoJSON format. This dataset is extracted from aerial images using deep learning object classification methods. This product provides tabular estimates of kilograms of nitrogen and phosphorus from a) fertilizer, and b) manure, for counties in the conterminous United States for the period 1950-2017. Data are generated for approximate five-year periods over the time, coinciding with U.S. Department of Agriculture Census of Agriculture census years. This data release also includes a model archive suitable for recreating the 2017 fertilizer estimates.

This product provides tabular data from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Census of Agriculture for selected items for the period 1950-2017 for counties in the conterminous United States. Data from 1950-2012 are taken from LaMotte (2015) and 2017 data are retrieved from the USDA QuickStats online tool. Data which are withheld in the Census of Agriculture are filled with estimates. The data include crop production values for 12 commodities (for example, corn in bushels), land use values for 7 land use types (for example, acres of total cropland), and 9 values for livestock types (for example, number of hogs and pigs). This dataset consists of a series of 1-kilometer rasters which provide a mapping of the estimated use of 101 agricultural pesticide compounds for the conterminous United States. Each compound is mapped annually for the years 2013 through 2017, thus there are 505 rasters posted (101 compounds x 5 years). The datasets were created by taking previously-published county-level estimates of kilograms of agricultural pesticide use, then allocating them to agricultural pixels from the 2016 National Land Cover Database, aggregated to 1-kilometer spatial resolution.

Using the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) Air Stagnation Index (ASI), the total number of days during 2007–2016 with atmospheric conditions conducive for stagnant air conditions in the conterminous U.S. are documented in raster format geospatial data. These data provide the number of days that would allow the temporal buildup of atmospheric pollution (NOAA, 2017). The updated 2018 National Seismic Hazard Model includes new ground motion models, aleatory uncertainty, and soil amplification factors for the central and eastern U.S. and incorporates basin depths from local seismic velocity models in four western U.S. (WUS) urban areas. This data release provides a list of 2,304 water-quality sampling sites indexed to NHDPlus v2.1 flowlines along with the verified ComIDs. ComIDs are the unique identifiers for NHDPlus flowlines and allow the sites to be joined to ancillary and watershed information from other sources published for that purpose. This dataset includes four tables related to annual trends in streamflow metrics at 599 reference streamgages in the conterminous United States for the period 1955-2014. We developed a 30-m spatial resolution forest regrowth time map for CONUS over 1985–2017. This map is the first attempt, as far as we know, to quantify tree regrowth rate at a national extent in the United States. The method used all available Landsat images to detect disturbances over forest lands and classify grass/shrub to tree class transitions on an annual basis. The average regrowth time was then calculated for each pixel that experienced tree regrowth process. The regrowth map was validated with independent reference data, showing average one-year of difference and 6-year standard deviation difference in the national tree regrowth time. A rain garden and other stormwater control measures (SCM) were installed at Gary City Hall in Gary, Indiana to retain water, increase infiltration and divert stormwater from city sewers. Input data were collected from a rain gage and five monitoring wells with installed pressure transducers at different locations (BFPK, CH1, CH2, CH3, GWPK; see site description).
