This data release contains the standard statistical suite (version 1.0) daily streamflow performance benchmark results for the National Water Model Retrospective (v2.1) at streamflow benchmark locations defined by Foks and others (2022). Modeled hourly timesteps were converted to mean daily timesteps. Model error was determined by evaluating predicted daily mean streamflow versus observed daily mean streamflow using various statistics; the Nash-Sutcliffe efficiency (NSE), the Kling-Gupta efficiency (KGE), the logNSE, the Pearson correlation coefficient, the Spearman correlation coefficient, the ratio of the standard deviation, the percent bias, the percent bias in flow duration curve midsegment slope, the percent...
Note: this dataset has been superseded by this new data product: Simpson, A., Turner, R., Blake, R., Liebhold, A., and Dorado, M., 2021, United States Register of Introduced and Invasive Species: U.S. Geological Survey data release, https://doi.org/10.5066/P95XL09Q. Invasive species are a subset of non-native (or nonindigenous) species, and knowing what species are non-native to a region is a first step to managing invasive species. This is the second update to the dataset "First comprehensive list of non-native species established in three major regions of the United States" supporting a USGS Open File Report by the same name published on 2018-10-17. Version 3.0 of the non-native species list, as of 2020-09-15,...

This tabular data set represents the percent of land cover classes from the new generation of the 2016 National Land Cover Datasets for the years 2001, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2011, 2013, and 2016 compiled for two spatial components of the NHDPlus version 2.1 data suite (NHDPlusv2) for the conterminous United States; 1) individual reach catchments and 2) reach catchments accumulated upstream through the river network. This dataset can be linked to the NHDPlus version 2 data suite by the unique identifier COMID. The source data is the "NLCD 2016 Land Cover Conterminous United States" datasets for the years 2001, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2011, 2013, and 2016 produced by the United States Geological Survey (Yang and others, 2018)....

This data release contains the standard statistical suite (version 1.0) daily streamflow performance benchmark results for the National Hydrologic Model Infrastructure application of the Precipitation-Runoff Modeling System (NHM-PRMS) version 1 "byObs" calibration with Muskingum routing computed at streamflow benchmark locations defined by Foks and others (2022). Model error was determined by evaluating predicted daily mean streamflow versus observed daily mean streamflow using various statistics; the Nash-Sutcliffe efficiency (NSE), the Kling-Gupta efficiency (KGE), the logNSE, the Pearson correlation coefficient, the Spearman correlation coefficient, the ratio of the standard deviation, the percent bias, the percent...
