Bioclimatic variables,California deserts, annual averages for the period 1981-2010 Bioclimatic variables include: temperature seasonality, mean maximum daily temperature of the warmest month, mean minimum daily temperature of the coldest month, annual precipitation, annual Growing Degree Days (5 deg C threshold), and aridity index. 270 m grids were were derived from downscaled PRISM data for the period 1981-2010. The grids were used to produce species distribution models for species of potential conservation concern to the Desert Renewable Energy Conservation Planning process.
