Seismic shaking caused failure of dam; concrete dam facing and service road have slid with a portion of dam into the reservoir, there is an extensive fracturing on remaining front of earth-fill dam, previous water level can be seen on concrete facing; considerable water had been emptied by the time of the photo, a second intake however has toppled and is submerged.
