This data set consists of 59 wideband magnetotelluric (MT) stations collected by the U.S. Geological Survey in July and August of 2020 as part of a 1-year project funded by the Energy Resources Program of the U.S. Geological Survey to demonstrate full crustal control on geothermal systems in the Great Basin. Each station had 5 components, 3 orthogonal magnetic induction coils and 2 horizontal orthogonal electric dipoles. Data were collected for an average of 18 hours on a repeating schedule of alternating sampling rates of 256 samples/second for 7 hours and 50 minutes and 4096 samples/second for 10 minutes. This data release presents the major and trace element chemistry of rock samples collected by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) from surface exposures of the Dora Bay igneous complex (DBIC), located in the southern part of Prince of Wales Island, southeastern Alaska. The DBIC is Early Jurassic in age (Bala and others, 2014) and is U-Th-heavy rare earth element (HREE)-enriched like the Bokan Mountain intrusive complex 30 km to the south (Philpotts and others 1998; Dostal and others, 2011; Taylor and others, 2016; 2017). This dataset presents information about exploration sites relating to the mineral industries of Latin America and the Caribbean. Exploration sites include sites in active exploration status, sites with feasibility work being performed or planned, exploration at a producing mine for a mine expansion, or sites that are approved for or under development but not yet at the producing stage. Relevant data fields include the mineral commodities present at the site, project name, project type, operator, owners of the site, geographic coordinates, and locational accuracy. These data are dervied from work conducted by staff of the Material Flow Analysis section of the National Minerals Information Center.

This dataset consists of 127 wideband and 21 long-period magnetotelluric (MT) stations collected from 2016-2019 across parts of Missouri, Arkansas, Tennessee, Illinois, and Kentucky. The U.S. Geological Survey acquired these data as part of regional investigations into the geologic and tectonic framework of the area and to support mineral resource and geologic hazard investigations. These data have been used to generate a 3D regional conductivity model of the area. Files included in this publication include measured electric- and magnetic-field time series as well as estimated impedance and vertical-magnetic field transfer functions.

This data set compiles the major and trace element chemistry of rock samples collected by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) at Bokan Mountain, located in the southern part of Prince of Wales Island, southeastern Alaska. Bokan Mountain was formed by an Early Jurassic peralkaline igneous complex that intruded into lower Paleozoic rocks of the Alexander terrane of southeast Alaska. The pluton and surrounding country rocks host numerous mineral deposits and occurrences, including heavy rare earth element (HREE)-rich pegmatites and felsic dikes, as well as mineral deposits rich in uranium, thorium, HREE, and fluorine. This dataset consists of 176 wideband magnetotelluric (MT) stations collected from 2015-2019 across parts of Minnesota, Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) acquired these data as part of regional investigations into the geologic and tectonic framework of the area and to support mineral resource investigations. These data have been used to generate a 3D regional conductivity model of the area. Files included in this publication include measured electric- and magnetic-field time series as well as estimated impedance and vertical-magnetic field transfer functions.
