Summary: The upper panorama shows Cimarron River-bed operations in a portion of the Cushing Oil Field on December 2, 1915. The view is looking to the southwest from a river overlook located in Creek County, Oklahoma. The panorama was constructed from two photographs taken by A.E. Fath. The repeat photograph, taken on January 1, 2011, is near the same vantage point used by Fath in 1915. (36.04884444 N, 96.58924166 W). Today, a lone oil derrick is visible on the far bank. Note: Ninety-six (96) years between A.E. Fath photograph numbers 49 and 50 (awc00049 and awc00050) and Stan Paxton's photograph.
