For each damage agent, a composite index was created by analyzing the ADS data for the past 5 years (2005 - 2010)collectively. The assumption is that the longer the infestation has been in one location, the higher themortality. This can then be used to identify those epicenters of high mortality and adjacent areas todetermine the potential for future mortality. These data are provided by Bureau of Land Management (BLM) "as is" and may contain errors or omissions.
