Structure-from-Motion (SfM) point clouds were created from images collected using a remotely piloted unoccupied aerial system over the bluffs of the eastern shore of Lake Michigan in St. Joseph, a urban residential area. The digital imagery was collected with the internal camera of a DJI Phantom 3 PRO for the July 8, 2019 data and DJI Phantom 4 PRO for the July 13, 2021 data that was operated by the University of Toledo. The images cover an extent between the intersection of Lakeshore Dr. with Lakeshore Road to the north, and South Lakeshore Dr. to the south. The images were collected in .jpg format and include Exif metadata with GPS date, time, and latitude and longitude, and other fields. Point clouds were created...

This data release includes information used to support the manuscript "Linking mesoscale meteorology with extreme landscape response: effects of narrow cold frontal rainbands (NCFR)". The included datasets and supplement include information related to the 22 March 2018 NCFR and associated shallow landslides in the Toulumne Canyon triggered by this event. The three datasets and one supplemental information document are: 1) mapped landslides where we created polygons for each landslide that occurred (Tuolumne Canyon Landslide Data Storm of 22 March 2018.kmz), 2) soil grain size data for landslide source and depositional zones (Tuolumne Canyon Grain Size Data Storm of 22 March 2018.xlsx), 3) a time series of rainfall...

This data release contains analytical data and images for a suite of drill core samples from the Mineral Hill alkaline complex (MHAC), northeastern Wyoming. Geochemistry data include major and trace element analytical results for 103 alkaline igneous rock samples. Images include hand sample photographs of halved core and full thin section images captured in transmitted, plane-polarized and cross-polarized light. Samples are from two core holes drilled by Humble Oil Company in 1970, and subsequently acquired and stored by Felix Mutschler at Eastern Washington University. The two skeletonized (incomplete) drill cores were acquired by the U.S. Geological Survey Geology, Minerals, Energy, and Geophysics Spokane office...

On February 14, 2019, just before 2:56 am local time (Pacific Standard Time), a landslide initiated from the natural hillslopes above the City of Sausalito, California. The landslide, properly identified as a debris flow, overran a road (Sausalito Boulevard) located immediately below the landslide source area, and impacted and destroyed several residential structures. One person was located in one of the residences and survived the disaster after being transported in their home down the slope. The U.S. Geological Survey responded to this event within hours of the landslide and provided situational awareness of possible secondary landslide hazards associated with the event. The USGS also rapidly mobilized its topographic...

A high-resolution airborne magnetic and radiometric survey of the southeast Mojave Desert, parts of California and Nevada was flown by EDCON-PRJ, Inc. from December 13, 2019 to March 21, 2020. The high-resolution fixed-wing survey was flown at a flightline spacing of 200 m, an azimuth of 70 degrees, a nominal elevation above ground of 100 m, and consists of about 17,277 line-kilometers. Tie lines were flown at a flightline spacing of 2 km with an azimuth of 160 degrees. Magnetic data were processed by EDCON-PRJ, Inc. and include corrections for diurnal variations of the Earth's magnetic field, magnetic field of the aircraft, tie-line leveled, micro-leveled, and an International Geomagnetic Reference of the Earth...
