These data represent a digital map of the average diversity genetic landscape for 10 species: Anaxyrus punctatus, Chionactis occipitalis, Chaetodipus penicillatus, Crotophytus bicinctores, Crotalus cerastes, Homalonychus selenopoides, Homalonychus theologus, Lichanura trivirgata, Sceloporus magister, and Xantusia vigilis in the Mojave and Sonoran Deserts. This data release comprises a dataset that contains sample collection information and microsatellite genotypes, and another dataset that contains single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) genotypes with sample collection information for populations of white-tailed ptarmigan across the species' range.
