The data from the borehole strainmeter network set consists of raw data from the telemetry, state of health measurements, environmental measurement of temperature and pressure, and processed borehole strainmeter data. For each strainmeter site in this network, there will be a mix of raw data, SOH, environmental data, and processed strain. Each channel of data consists of a time of observation, usually 10-minute intervals, and a number that is either telemetry counts (which is proportional to the voltage output by the instrument), or in units of strain, which are either in part per million or parts per billion. Processed strain will be free of glitches and other artifacts and are corrected for changes in atmospheric...
Tiltmeter data from borehole tilt stations UWE and SDH from January 1 to December 31, 2020, spanning a Kīlauea summit intrusion and summit eruption that began on December 20, 2020. These data were collected in 2020 by Andria P Ellis and Ingrid A Johanson of the USGS Hawaiian Volcano Observatory. The authors thank Sarah Conway for conducting the nearly monthly clock resets for these tiltmeters in 2020.

These data provide measures of aseismic slip (creep) at approximately 40 sites located on the San Andreas, Hayward, and Calaveras faults in Central California from Point Pinole located in the San Francisco Bay area to south of Parkfield, California. The earliest measurement of creep followed the 1966 Parkfield earthquake. Currently, we maintain approximately 20 creepmeters and those data are uploaded to the web daily. The data provided at http://earthquake.usgs.gov/monitoring/deformation/data/download/table.php include measurements for sites that have been abandoned. The table provides the location of each creepmeter, and where present, notes that might be relevant to interpreting the data from each instrument.
These data are microgravity measurements collected at the summit of Kilauea Volcano, Hawaii. Data are collected using multiple instruments, with each file representing measurements from a specific instrument during a specific time period. The data dictionary explains the file format and contents, and the dataset will be updated as new measurements are collected.

Bathymetric, topographic, and grain-size data were collected from May 2013 to October 2016 along a 15-mi reach of the Colorado River in Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, Arizona by the U.S. Geological Survey Grand Canyon Monitoring and Research Center. The study reach is located from river miles -15 at the base of Glen Canyon Dam to 0 at Lees Ferry. Channel bathymetry was mapped using multibeam bathymetry collected in November 2014 and single beam bathymetry collected in February 2015, August 2015, February 2016, and June 2016. Subaerial topography was mapped using photogrammetry derived from aerial Imagery collected in May 2013 and ground-based total-stations collected in February 2015, October 2015, and October...
Tiltmeter data from station Jonika Flow (JKA) used in the publication "Pre-existing ground cracks as lava flow pathways at Kīlauea in 2014" by Tim R. Orr, Edward W. Llewellin, Kyle R. Anderson, and Matthew R. Patrick. These data were collected in 2014 by Asta Miklius of the USGS Hawaiian Volcano Observatory.
This Data Release includes results of repeated leveling surveys each summer from 2002 to 2006 and in 2008 along two short traverses in the Three Sisters Wilderness Area, central Oregon Cascade Range. A data dictionary explains the file format and contents. The dataset will be updated if new measurements are collected, which is unlikely unless there is a significant change in the rate or pattern of activity observed to date. This Data Release includes results of repeated leveling surveys each summer from 2002 to 2006 and in 2008 along two short traverses in the Three Sisters Wilderness, central Oregon Cascade Range. The surveys were part of an undertaking by the USGS Cascades Volcano Observatory to monitor an episode...

Measurements of changes in the distance (or length) between monuments are provided. These measurements were made using a two-color Electronic Distance Meter (EDM) that can measure distances between 1 and 10 KM. Nominal precision of these data range from 0.3 mm to 1.0 mm dependent upon the baseline’s length. These measurements were made between mid-1975 to mid-2006. Data in this archive are from eight networks, each consisting of more the 9 baselines. The locations of these networks in California include far northwestern California, Hollister, CA., Long Valley Caldera in eastern California, Parkfield, Pearblossom, and Anza; the last two located in Southern California. For four of the networks (Hollister, Parkfield,...
This page houses model results used in the U.S. National Seismic Hazard Model, 2023. We include results from four geodetic deformation models (Pollitz, Zeng, Shen, Evans), post-seismic relaxation ("ghost transient") calculation (Hearn), and creep calculation (Johnson/Murray). Geologic deformation model results are available in Hatem et al. (2022a). An overview of all model procedures and comparisons is available at: Pollitz, F.F., E. L. Evans, E. H. Field, A. E. Hatem, E. H. Hearn, K. M. Johnson, J. R. Murray, P. M. Powers, Z.-K. Shen, C. Wespestad, and Y. Zeng (2022). This database complements the following publication: Goldberg, D. E., D. Melgar, G. P. Hayes, B. W. Crowell, and V. J. Sahakian (2021). A Ground-Motion Model for GNSS Peak Ground Displacement, Bulletin of the Seismological Society of America XX, 1–15, doi: 10.1785/0120210042. High-rate Global Navigations Satellite Systems (GNSS) data is recognized as a valuable complement to traditional inertial seismic instrumentation for recording the large ground motions at regional distances to large magnitude earthquakes. This dataset contains high-rate GNSS displacement waveforms, processed using precise point positioning, for a global set of moderate- to large-magnitude earthquakes (Mw6-9) between the years 2003 and 2019....
This Science Base Community is a home for ScienceBase items and data produced by the Cascades Volcano Observatory. The goal is to make it easier to organize, store, and share data sets that support research and monitoring efforts at volcanoes in the Cascades and elsewhere in the US.
This release includes data collected during campaign GPS surveys at Kīlauea and Mauna Loa Volcanoes on the Island of Hawaiʻi in 2021. It includes data from a total of 63 sites occupied from January 1 to December 31, 2021. For each site, we include its measured raw data in daily files, Receiver INdependent EXchange (RINEX) files for each day, field log sheet(s), and associated metadata information. We also include a few days of data at the end of 2020 at 3 longer-term campaign sites at Kīlauea’s summit. These sites (109Y, NDDB, OVRL) were deployed in late December 2020 in response to the December 20, 2020, Kīlauea summit eruption. The authors thank USGS Hawaiian Volcano Observatory staff, volunteers, and collaborators...

Data collected by 11 borehole tiltmeters operated by the U.S. Geological Survey on Kīlauea Volcano, on the Island of Hawai'i. Data was collected between 30 April, 2018 and 5 August, 2018. Among the features captured by this data set are: the collapse of Puʻuʻōʻō on 30 April, 2018, the migration of magma down the East Rift Zone from 30 April to 3 May, 2018, the M6.9 earthquake on 4 May, 2018, and the deflation and collapse of the shallow magma chamber at Kīlauea from early May until 5 August, 2018. Data files for each station are zipped together into a single archive, which also includes a ReadMe.txt explanatory file. Zip archives are named with the three-letter station code that uniquely identifies the tiltmeter...
