Lower member of the Martin formation as exposed in a road cut on US. Highway 60 north of the Salt River; the brown beds are in the lower third of the cut. Contact between the Martin formation and the Redwall limestone in the Flying "V" Canyon; the Redwall limestone forms the overhanging ledge at the top of the exposure, and the upper member of the Martin formation is shown in the middle and foreground.
