2010 USDA Forest Service, Rocky Mountain Region Aerial Detection Survey Data. This data depicts the occurrence and location of forest insect, disease, and other biotic and abiotic causes of tree mortality and tree damage. Using the horizontal-to-vertical spectral-ratio (HVSR) method, we infer regolith thickness (i.e., depth to bedrock) throughout the Farmington River Watershed, CT, USA. Between Nov. 2019 and Nov. 2020, MOHO Tromino Model TEP-3C (MOHO, S.R.L.) three-component seismometers collected passive seismic recordings along the Farmington River and the upstream West Branch of Salmon Brook. From these recordings, we derived resonance frequencies using the GRILLA software (MOHO, S.R.L.), and then inferred potential regolith thicknesses based on likely shear wave velocities, Vs, intrinsic to the underlying sediment. The mule deer (Odocoileus hemionus) of the Pueblo of Santa Ana herds are primarily non-migratory, with two distinct winter ranges separated by U.S. Route 550. The winter ranges consist primarily of Chihuahuan semi‐desert grassland, dominated by black grama (Bouteloua eriopoda), galleta (Pleuraphis jamesii), mesa dropseed (Sporobolus flexuosus), and fourwing saltbush (Atriplex canescens), with higher elevation sections consisting of pinyon-juniper woodland and juniper savannah. The mule deer (Odocoileus hemionus) of the Jemez Springs herd winter in the southwestern Jemez Mountains, south and east of the town of Jemez Springs. The area has experienced two severe wildfires, the Las Conchas and Thompson Ridge fires, within the last decade, burning a total of 180,555 acres. The data used in this report was collected to examine the responses of mule deer to these wildfires and forest restoration treatments. The winter range is located among the foothills of the Jemez Mountains, consisting primarily of pinyon-juniper woodlands. This dataset was developed for the BLM-Rapid Ecoregional Assessment (REA) project for the Seward Peninsula - Nulato Hills - Kotzebue Sound Lowlands. This datasets represents the Change Agent, pests and disease, specifically identifiying beetle infestations. The information was collected, cooperatively by aerial surveys by both the USFS, Forest Health Protection (FHP) and ADNR, Div. of Forestry with beetle data clipped to the REA project boundary. The data represents a 10 year cumulative effect for 1989-2010.

This archive contains the logistic mapping output vulnerability difference rasters at the conceptual well locations. Data are provided in rasters containing the differences between estimated probabilities of nitrate concentrations greater than 2 milligrams per liter at hypothetical 150 feet and 300 feet deep wells for sequential five-year categories when one or both of the predicted probabilities was equal to or greater than 50 percent.

This feature class includes monitoring data collected nationally to understand the status, condition, and trend of resources on BLM lands. Data are collected in accordance with the Interpreting Indicators for Rangeland Health (IIRH) method. The IIRH method is a qualitative assessment of rangeland health, defined as "the degree to which the integrity of the soil, vegetation, water, and air, as well as the ecological processes of the rangeland ecosystem are balanced and sustained." This data represents areas of forest damage due to insect infestation, fire, flood, landslides, and windthrow. The information was collected, cooperatively by aerial surveys by both the USFS, Forest Health Protection (FHP) and ADNR, Div. of Forestry. Surveys are conducted primarily in July and August so that pest "signatures" may be identified during the optimal period for symptom development of ocular estimation. The aerial survey is coordinated such that the maximum extent of recent bark beetle damage (fading trees) and insect defoliation (discoloration, foliage loss) patterns may be determined. This data release is part of a study examining the occurrence of chromium and natural and anthropogenic hexavalent Chromium, Cr(VI) in groundwater.
