Handwritten notes on album caption: 293. The Hidden Lake, within a quarter mile of Yellowstone Lake and near the camp in 269. It is about a mile in length, entirely hidden among the dense pines and might easily escape notice. Yellowstone Series 1871. Missing in the USGS albums in National Archives. It is in Wabash College Archives.
