Small powerhouse at Farad on the Truckee River 3 miles east of Boca Reservoir, showing a near-circular hole about 9 feet in diameter punctured in the brick wall by the large falling boulder. The boulder fell from the slope about 100 feet west of Interstate Highway 80, skipped across the highway and catwalk, bounced near the base of the power pole in the center and then into the brick wall. September 1966.
