The photographic station is roughtly 259 meters above the Colorado and 84.6 kilometers below Lees Ferry. A dense stand of catclaw, western honey mesquite, and netleaf hackberry occurs above the level attained by the river during flood stage. (Altitude 847 meters). Man by ruins for scale.
