A table summarizing the inventoried acreage by crop type and irrigation system was compiled for Bay County, Florida. The irrigated acreage totals were derived from analyses of satellite and aerial imagery. Crop types and irrigation system types were verified during field trips that started in May 2021 and concluded in August 2021. In addition, the table provides acreage totals by crop type reported by the U.S. Department of Commerce for 1982, the U.S. Department of Agriculture from 1987 through 2017, and Florida Statewide Agricultural Irrigation Demand for 2018-19.

Phase 1 & 2 (2010, 2012): This project developed a sampling design and monitoring protocol for wintering shorebirds in the Central Valley and in the San Francisco Bay Estuary and develop an LCC-specific online shorebird monitoring portal publicly available at the California Avian Data Center. The three objectives in Phase II of this project are: 1) Complete the shorebird monitoring plan for the CA LCC by developing a sampling design and monitoring protocol for wintering shorebirds in coastal southern California and northern Mexico. 2) Develop models to evaluate the influence of habitat factors from multiple spatial scales on shorebird use of San Francisco Bay and managed wetlands in the Sacramento Valley, as a model...

This tabular data set represents the percent of land cover classes from the 2019 edition of the National Land Cover databases for the years 2001, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2011, 2013, 2016 and 2019 compiled for two spatial components of the NHDPlus version 2.1 data suite (NHDPlusv2) for the conterminous United States; 1) individual reach catchments and 2) reach catchments accumulated upstream through the river network. These databases can be linked to the NHDPlus version 2 data suite by the unique identifier COMID. The source data is the "National Land Cover Database (NLCD) 2019 Products (ver. 2.0, June 2021)" databases for the years 2001, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2011, 2013, 2016, and 2019 produced by the United States Geological...
The Central Platte River Image Library is an extensive dataset of historic 1860's surveys by the Government Land Office and aerial photographs from 1938-2012. All datasets are either public domain property of the U.S. Government or published by the Rainwater Basin Joint Venture (RWBJV) with permission from the respective owner (specifically the Platte River Recovery Implementation Program or Central Platte Natural Resources District). The Central Platte River region of Nebraska extends from approximately Jeffery Reservoir (Western Extent) to Columbus (Eastern Extent). The library was completed May 2014 - Sept 2016 by the Rainwater Basin Joint Venture.

Watersheds boundaries for GVRD - represents Seymour Capilano and Coquitlam Watersheds. Data was obtained from GVRD in September 2000.
The public ownership layer shows land ownership/management for public entities, Federal, Tribal, State, and Local. The base linework was derived mostly from the BLM Landlines (Public Land Survey & Jurisdiction) layer and from ODF ownership layer. This base linework was enhanced using lines derived from the Government Corners Database (GCDB)
This dataset describes Native American Ceded Tribal lands in Washington State. Boundary lines have been digitized from a variety of digital data sources including 1:100,000 streams for boundaries described in treaties as following a stream or river, 1:24k Water Resource Inventory Areas (WRIA), Watershed Administrative Unit (WAU) and Hydrologic Unit Code (HUC) boundaries for boundaries referred to in treaties as 'divide', 'summit' or 'between the waters of', 1:100,000 Major Public Lands (for current reservation areas), 10 meter DEM and 7.5 minute USGS digital Quad maps (to define ridgelines and 'divide' where WRIA, WAU or HUC boundaries don't exist) and NAIP orthophoto imagery (to get a feel for what a questionable...

We obtained statewide spatially explicit gridded soil survey data for Nebraska from the Soil Survey Geographic (SSURGO) database. The ‘chorizon,’ ‘chtexture,’ ‘chtexturegrp,’ ‘mapunit,’ and ‘mutext’ tables in the Gridded SSURGO database were joined together using the “mukey” attribute field in a geographic information system (GIS). The representative values for slope (rvslope) and slope length (rvslopelenusle), the susceptibility of the soil to water erosion (Kw), and the soil loss tolerance (t_fact) values were obtained from the set of joined tables and were included in the Water Erosion Index calculation. We acquired county-specific rainfall and runoff factor values (R) from the U.S. Department ofAgriculture’s...

The Gulf Coast Prairie Landscape Conservation Cooperative needed seamless landcover data for the south-central United States. This information is essential for developing computer modeling tools related to the conservation of many terrestrial species and determining the quality of vegetation to assess current and desired conditions.
