The purpose of this data set is support resource allocation decisions (i.e. where to invest conservation effort) within the Gulf Coastal Plains and Ozarks Landscape Conservation Cooperative. The Management Opportunity action map for the Tidal Marsh habitat system ranks pixels (10-m) for 3 general classes of conservation actions. Maintenance pixels (values 7-9) are currently estimated to meet the site condition Endpoints in the GCPO LCC’s draft Integrated Science Agenda (v4). Enhancement pixels (values 4-6) are those that are currently classified as Tidal Marsh but do not meet the site condition Endpoints in the Science Agenda. Restoration pixels (values 1-3) are those that are currently in a different land use but...

This polygon depicts the area open for waterfowl hunting at Salinas River NWR. This dataset is used for mapping purposes only and all hunters should consult the refuge prior to engaging in hunting. Hunting seasons and other restrictions apply.

ArcGIS layer package of relative classifications (low to high) for six resilience indicators and two anthropogenic stressors and a map of final relative resilience scores for 78 sites in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. The six resilience indicators are: bleaching resistance, coral diversity, coral recruitment, herbivore biomass, macroalgae cover and temperature variability. The two anthropogenic stressors are fishing access and nutrients and sediments. The resilience score map compares sites across all four of the surveyed islands: Saipan, Tinian, Aguijan, and Rota.

A raster dataset representing the resilience and resistance classes combined with greater sage-grouse breeding habitat probabilities. It was created to represent greater sage-grouse breeding habitat probabilities within each resilience and resistance class. It was created to be incorporated into a larger landscape scale geospatial data modeling effort, the Conservation and Restoration Strategy. The R&R and the GRSG Breeding Habitat Probability raster were incorporated; the resulting raster contained 12 values: 26 - Unsuitable Probability and High R&R 27 - Unsuitable Probability and Moderate R&R 28 - Unsuitable Probability and Low R&R 51 - Low Probability and High R&R 52 - Low Probability and Moderate R&R 53...

The Management Opportunity action map for the Upland Hardwood (Woodland) habitat system ranks pixels (250-m) for 3 general classes of conservation actions. Maintenance pixels (values 7-9) are currently estimated to meet the site condition Endpoints in the GCPO LCC’s draft Integrated Science Agenda (v4). Enhancement pixels (values 4-6) are those that are currently classified as Upland Hardwood (Woodland) but do not meet the site condition Endpoints in the Science Agenda. The REA estimates the condition of 14.2 million acres of land in southern New Mexico. It is based on states described in “ecological site descriptions” (ESDs) and expert knowledge. ESDs have been developed by the Natural Resource Conservation Service, and they are a consistent, science and expert-based resource increasingly used by land managers. It focuses on public rangelands - grasslands, shrublands, and savannas - managed by the Bureau of Land Management, and includes some other lands as well. The REA compares current condition to the expected or “reference” condition, and summarizes the vegetation, ecological processes and restorative management options of these states. Depending on these management options...

The purpose of this data set is support resource allocation decisions (i.e. where to invest conservation effort) within the Gulf Coastal Plains and Ozarks Landscape Conservation Cooperative. The Condition Index ranks pixels (250-m) according to how well they meet the Desired State for the Forested Wetland habitat system, which is described qualitatively and quantitatively in the GCPO LCC’s draft Integrated Science Agenda (v4). Higher values indicate sites closer to the Desired State. Value of 1 indicates areas appropriate for restoration but currently under an alternative land use (i.e. potential habitat). Please see PDF file in the Forested Wetland folder in the Blueprint Gallery at https://gcpolcc.databasin.org/...

A raster dataset representing the probability of the surrounding landscape (6.4km radius) supporting a greater sage-grouse lek. This dataset was made by mosaicking the probability of GRSG habitat layers (citation) and classifying them into unsuitable (0.01-0.25), low (0.25-0.50), moderate (0.50-0.65), and high (0.65-1.0) probabilities of the landscape supporting a lek. The publication date of this data is July 2016.
