We present whole-rock geochemical analyses of 12 core samples obtained from three serpentinite mud volcanoes (Yinazao, Asut Tesoru, and Fantangisna) located on the forearc of the Mariana subduction system, where the Pacific Plate descends beneath the Philippine Sea Plate. The core was collected during International Ocean Discovery Program Expedition 366 of 2016-2017. The materials comprising the mud volcanoes have risen diapirically along normal faults in the forearc that may extend down to the subducting slab. Ten of the samples are thoroughly serpentinized ultramafic rocks. The other two come from cored intervals into Fantangisna mud volcano that contain materials derived from the subducting Pacific Plate, and...

USGS high resolution orthorectified images from The National Map combine the image characteristics of an aerial photograph with the geometric qualities of a map. An orthoimage is a uniform-scale image where corrections have been made for feature displacement such as building tilt and for scale variations caused by terrain relief, sensor geometry, and camera tilt. A mathematical equation based on ground control points, sensor calibration information, and a digital elevation model is applied to each pixel to rectify the image to obtain the geometric qualities of a map. A digital orthoimage may be created from several photographs mosaicked to form the final image. The source imagery may be black-and-white, natural...

Data represent dependent and independent variables used in logistic modeling for a study entitled "Evaluating Establishment Success of Non-native Fishes Introduced to Inland Aquatic Habitats of Tropical Pacific Islands." The phases of invasion of nonnative species are transport, introduction, establishment, and spread. To understand likelihood of establishment of species moved to new regions, investigators often use analytical methods that include life-history attributes, ecophysiological parameters, distributional factors, propagule pressure, introduction pathways, and other salient features that contribute to successful establishment. Introductions that fail to result in establishment are often unknown. In this...
