To estimate the potential of mineral resources in the Bureau of Land Management Central Yukon Planning Area using geographic information systems (GIS) analysis of muliple statewide datasets. The six mineral deposit models are: 1) REE-Th-Y-Nb deposits associated with peralkaline to carbonatitic intrusive rocks, 2) placer and paleoplacer Au, 3) PGE (-Co-Cr-Ni-Ti-V) deposits associated with mafic-to-ultramafic intrusive rocks, 4) carbonate-hosted Cu (-Co-Ag-Ge-Ga) deposits, 5) sandstone U (-V-Cu) deposits, and 6) Sn-W-Mo (-Ta-In-fluorspar) deposits in specialized granites. GIS data layers available for analysis include sediment and rock geochemistry, pan concentrate mineralogy and geochemistry, Alaska Resource Data...

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has compiled a geodatabase containing mineral-related geospatial data for the People's Republic of China. The data can be used in analyses of the extractive fuel and nonfuel mineral industries and related economic and physical infrastructure integral for the successful operation of the mineral industries within the area of study as well as the movement of mineral products across domestic and global markets. This geodatabase reflects the USGS ongoing commitment to its mission of understanding the nature and distribution of global mineral commodity supply chains by updating and publishing the georeferenced locations of mineral commodity production and processing facilities, mineral...

This dataset includes thin section images, automated mineralogy mineral maps, whole-rock geochemical data, and whole-rock Nd-Sr-Pb isotopic analysis of samples collected from nine mafic-ultramafic outcrops in the Wet Mountains, southern Colorado, during the summer of 2022. These data will accompany an upcoming journal publication and are intended to supplement recently collected airborne magnetic and ground gravity data that indicate a mostly buried mafic-ultramafic intrusion of unknown age (Grauch et al., 2023; Magnin and Anderson, 2023; Magnin et al., 2023). Outcrop locations were identified based on previous mapping by Taylor (1974). A single thin section was made from each sample, and both plain- and cross-polarized...
