Estimated nitrogen delivered to the estuaries along the Gulf of Mexico (U.S. only). Delivered yield is an estimate of the amount of nitrogen delivered to an estuary divided by the area of the upstream drainage area that drains into the estuary. Units are kg/km2/year.
This data release consists of the data used to develop SPAtially Referenced Regression On Watershed(SPARROW) attributes models for estimating loads of total phosphorus and total nitrogen in Tennessee streams. These data support the publication containing the Tennessee SPARROW models results (Hoos and others, 2019) and include model input used in the South Atlantic-Gulf Drainages and Tennessee River Basin (SAGT) nutrient SPARROW models (Hoos and McMahon, 2009; Garcia and others, 2011) as well as model input for river basins in Tennessee not included in the domain of the published SAGT SPARROW models. Also included in this data release are model coefficients, the software required to execute the Tennessee SPARROW...
This dataset was developed in partnership with the Tennessee Department of Environmental Conservation to determine the susceptibility of selected Tennessee reservoirs to eutrophication and potential harmful algal blooms. A R script, based on recursive partitioning and the model-based boosting routine, was used to generate regression trees that grouped Tennessee reservoirs into five endpoints along individual low-to-high gradients of Secchi depth and chlorophyll a concentrations (Green, et al, 2021; Heal and Green, 2021). Input data for these reservoirs were obtained from SPAtially Referenced Regression On Watershed (SPARROW) attributes models that estimate total phosphorus and total nitrogen loads in Tennessee water...

This spatial data set was created by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) to represent mean annual solar radiation in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States (Hydro Region 17; Major River Basin 7 (MRB7)) for the period between 1991 and 2005.
These tabular data sets represent mean monthly precipitation (millimeters) data from 800-meter PRISM data for the years 2016 and 2017 compiled for two spatial components of the NHDPlus version 2 data suite (NHDPlusv2) for the conterminous United States; 1) individual reach catchments and 2) reach catchments accumulated upstream through the river network. This dataset can be linked to the NHDPlus version 2 data suite by the unique identifier COMID. The source data for mean monthly precipitation (Celsius) from 800-meter PRISM data was produced by the PRISM Group at Oregon State University. Units are degrees Celsius. This tabular data set represents estimated mean annual snow as a percent of total precipitation, 1905-2002 compiled for two spatial components of the NHDPlus version 2 data suite (NHDPlusv2) for the conterminous United States; 1) individual reach catchments and 2) reach catchments accumulated upstream through the river network. This dataset can be linked to the NHDPlus version 2 data suite by the unique identifier COMID. The source data for estimated mean annual snow as a percent of total precipitation was produced by the USGS (Wolock, written communic., 2012) and processed based on the methods described by McCabe and Wolock (USGS, 2009). Units are percent. Reach catchment information characterizes data at the local...
This tabular data set represents monthly average precipitation values (millimeters) described in Wolock and McCabe (2018), compiled for the NHDPlus version 2 data suite (NHDPlusV2) for the conterminous United States for the years 1945 - 2015. Linkage of the precipitation data with NHDPlusV2 is achieved through the common unique identifier COMID. The precipitation values are estimated both for: 1) individual reach catchments and 2) reach catchments accumulated upstream through the river network. The reach catchment information characterizes data at the local scale, whereas the catchments accumulated through the river network characterize cumulative upstream conditions. The network-accumulated values are derived using...
