WLCI Subwatersheds USGS staff created this data (July 2008) from existing NHD - High resolution data and Level 5 and 6 HUC data created by WyGISC. Several data gaps exist in the NHD Level 5 and 6 HUC data. WyGISC data was used to supplement the NHD data in these cases. Topology enforced HUC dataset. This file contains Hydrologic Unit boundaries and codes for the United States, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The data is a seamless National representation of Hydrologic Unit Code (HUC) boundaries at HUC2 to HUC12 levels compiled from U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) National Hydrography Dataset (NHD) and U.S. Department of Agricultural (USDA) National Resources Conservation Services (NRCS) Watershed Boundary Dataset (WBD) sources.
