The distance within which populations respond to features in a landscape (scale of effect) can indicate how disturbance and management may affect wildlife. Using annual counts of male Greater Sage-grouse (Centrocercus urophasianus) attending 584 leks in southwest Wyoming (2003-2019) and estimates of sagebrush cover from the Rangeland Condition Monitoring Assessment and Projection (RCMAP), we used a scale selection approach to jointly estimate the scale of effect and the effect of sagebrush cover in the surrounding landscape for sage-grouse population trends. We estimated these parameters using a state-space model fit with a Bayesian approach. Data formatting necessary for this analysis produced data stored in two...

The data contained in this report was compiled, modified, and analyzed for the Wyoming Landscape Conservation Initiative (WLCI) Integrated Assessment (IA). The WLCI is a long-term science based effort to assess and enhance aquatic and terrestrial habitats at a landscape scale in southwest Wyoming while facilitating responsible energy development through local collaboration and partnerships. The IA is an integrated synthesis and analysis of WLCI resource values based on best available data and information collected from multiple agencies and organizations. It is a support tool for landscape-scale conservation planning and evaluation, and a data and analysis resource that can be used for addressing specific management...

This database for the National Historic Trails is comprised of digital topographic data and reference line established using point data gathered with Global Positioning System (GPS) technology which represents only an approximation of the centerline of the trails system. This database, which is to be used in conjunction with ArcView/ArcMap software, is provided to assist the user in analyzing the visibility of any proposed location(with proposed 12' structures) within 5 miles of the GPS reference line of the trails in order to evaluate effects to the landscape and setting of National Historic Trails in accordance with the National Historic Preservation Act and its implementing regulations at 36CFR Part 800. This child item contains one structural grid generated on the top of the Almond Formation (base Lewis Shale) and one grid on the top of the Fox Hills Sandstone. The top of the Lewis Shale and base of the Fox Hills Sandstone interfinger on a regional scale, so the top of the Fox Hills Sandstone was chosen as a structural horizon for consistency. The grids were generated by picking tops in borehole geophysical logs and interpolating between them in the Southwestern Wyoming Province in Wyoming and Colorado. The Lewis Shale in the eastern part of the province is bounded to the north and south by fault zones, to the east by uplift, and to the west by the Lewis stratigraphic pinch-out. The Lewis Shale has been uplifted...
