NHD medium resolution (1:100,000) flowlines downloaded from http://nhd.usgs.gov/data.html on 5/29/2013. Data were downloaded by subregion, merged, and then clipped to the DRECP study area by the Conservation Biology Institute. The National Hydrography Dataset (NHD) is a feature-based database that interconnects and uniquely identifies the stream segments or reaches that make up the nation's surface water drainage system. NHD data was originally developed at 1:100,000-scale and exists at that scale for the whole country. This high-resolution NHD, generally developed at 1:24,000/1:12,000 scale, adds detail to the original 1:100,000-scale NHD. (Data for Alaska, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands was developed at high-resolution,...

The Great Plains Landscape Conservation Cooperative (GPLCC, https://www.fws.gov/science/catalog) is a partnership that provides applied science and decision support tools to assist natural resource managers conserve plants, fish and wildlife in the mid- and short-grass prairie of the southern Great Plains. It is part of a national network of public-private partnerships — known as Landscape Conservation Cooperatives (LCCs, http://www.fws.gov/science/shc/lcc.html) — that work collaboratively across jurisdictions and political boundaries to leverage resources and share science capacity. The Great Plains LCC identifies science priorities for the region and helps foster science that addresses these priorities to support...

This dataset has be derived from the National Hydrologic Dataset (NHD). The derivation and modification process has been performed by AGRC to provide a generl puposes feature class of streams for cartographic purposes. Two fields have been added to this feature class (InUtah and IsMajor) and features have been split at the state boundary. The National Hydrography Dataset (NHD) is a feature-based database that interconnects and uniquely identifies the stream segments or reaches that make up the nation's surface water drainage system. This dataset includes hydrographic flowlines (streams/rivers, pipelines, connectors, canals/ditches, coastlines, underground conduits, and other artificial paths) within the Southern Mojave/Salton Sea sub-region. This corresponds to sub-region 1810 (HUC level 4) in the national Watershed Boundary Dataset (WBD). This is an extract of the National Hydrography Dataset (NHD) - medium resolution (1:100,000 scale). For further information on the NHD dataset, see http://nhd.usgs.gov/

Hydrography represents stream centerlines and off centerlines with greater than 30 hectare flow accumulation for the Northeast region. This dataset was developed as part of the Designing Sustainable Landscapes project led by Professor Kevin McGarigal of the University of Massachusetts and sponsored by the North Atlantic Landscape Conservation Cooperative; for more information about the entire project see: http://www.umass.edu/landeco/research/dsl/dsl.html The purpose of this dataset is to improve the National Hydrography Dataset (NHD) for the Northeast region. The NHD is a national framework for assigning reach addresses to water-related entities, such as industrial discharges, drinking water supplies, fish habitat...

The National Hydrography Dataset (NHD) is a feature-based database that interconnects and uniquely identifies the sream segments or reaches that comprise the nation's surface water drainage system. Medium resolution NHD is based on the content of the U.S. Geological Survey 1:100,000-scale Digital Line Graph (DLG) hydrography data, integrated with reach-related information from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Reach File Version 3.0 (RF3). More specifically, it contains reach codes for networked features and isolated lakes, flow direction, names, stream level, and centerline representations for areal water bodies. Reaches are also defined to represent water bodies and the approximate shorelines of the Great...

This represents the flowline network in Western Lale Erie Restoration Assessment (WLERA). It is attributed with the number of disconnections between the reach and the connecting river system. These data will help identify the condition of hydrologic separation between potential restoration areas and the connecting river system. Low numbers represent fewer disconnections such as culverts between the reach and the rivers requiring no flow network modification to restore the area.
