Brief Methods Summary for Potential_Wilderness_Additions_2011_w_Criteria.shp By John Gallo; May 17, 2011 All quantitative data are from the Regional Conservation Guide I took M1Orig from the [RCG1_0_No_tht] file and intersected with the Potential Wilderness layer (Provided by CWC). Did that for the other Ms too. (M1=Species Hotspots, M2=Habitat Representation, M4 = WildLands, M6 = Connectivity between Wildlands). I used the inverse of the ecological integrity index for 2000 to be an indication of restoration potential (For instance, a PWA that currently allows grazing would get a very low score for ECI, and incidentally for Wildlands value, but arguably a high score for restoration potential).
