Global Geochemical Database for Critical Minerals in Archived Mine Samples The Critical Minerals in Archived Mine Samples Database (CMDB) contains chemistry and geologic information for historic ore and ore-related rock samples from mineral deposits in the United States. In addition, the database contains samples from archetypal deposits from 27 other countries in North America, South America, Asia, Africa and Europe. Here, we compile all geologic slip rates that are reportedly used in U.S. National Seismic Hazard Map (NSHM) releases from 1996, 2002, 2007, 2008, and 2014. Although a new NSHM was released in 2018, no changes were made in geologic slip rate data used. The geologic slip rates are collated from existing NSHM reports and documentation, and no new data are reported herein. Initial HCI scores were developed in three separate assessments (Conterminous U.S., Hawaii, and Alaska) due to differences in data availability across these regions. In the initial NFHAP 2010 Alaska assessment HCI values were attributed to HUC12s. For this reason, to summarize data into HUC8s for Alaska an area-weighted average was used (i.e. the cumulative HCI score assigned to each HUC12 within a HUC8 was weighted by reach area using the formula (H1*A1+H2*A2...+HX*AX)/(A1+A2...+AX) where H = HCI... These images were compiled from sets of aerial imagery included in this data release. Orthomosaic images can be used for visual reference but do not contain elevation data.
