Elevation artifacts in digital bathymetric and topographic models for United States east (east_cdem_v1.tif) and west (west_cdem_v.tif) coasts (polygon shapefile, geographic, NAD83)
Investigations of coastal change and coastal resources often require continuous elevation profiles from the seafloor to coastal terrestrial landscapes. Differences in elevation data collection in the terrestrial and marine environments result in separate elevation products that may not share a vertical datum. This data release contains the assimilation of multiple elevation products into a continuous digital elevation model at a resolution of 3-arcseconds (approximately 90 meters) from the terrestrial landscape to the seafloor for the contiguous U.S., focused on the coastal interface. All datasets were converted to a consistent horizontal datum, the North American Datum of 1983, but the native vertical datum for...
This ESRI geodatabase consists of 5 feature datsets with 23 individual polygon feature classes and two raster datasets. A master campsite polygon feature class represents the boundaries of campsites identified in the 1973, 1984, and 1991 campsite inventories of the Colorado River corridor in Grand Canyon, Arizona. The other polygon feature classes represent camp locations along the Colorado River corridor in Grand Canyon, Arizona during different survey periods using different surveying techniques. The raster datasets represent sub-aerial and sub-surface sandbar surfaces at 37 long term-monitoring sites between Lees Ferry and Diamond Creek, Arizona in Grand Canyon National Park, measured in September and October...
Preliminary maps of Quaternary deposits and liquefactionsusceptibility, nine-county San Francisco Bay region,California: a digital database
This report presents a preliminary map and database ofQuaternary deposits and liquefaction susceptibility for thenine-county San Francisco Bay region, together with a digitalcompendium of ground effects associated with past earthquakesin the region. The report consists of (1) a spatial database offivedata layers (Quaternary deposits, quadrangle index, andthree ground effects layers) and two text layers (a labels andleaders layer for Quaternary deposits and for groundeffects), (2) two small-scale colored maps (Quaternary depositsand liquefaction susceptibility), (3) a text describing theQuaternary map, liquefaction interpretation, and the groundeffects compendium, and (4) the databse description pamphlet. The nine...
These environmental raster covariate, geospatial vector data, and tabular data were compiled as input data for the Automated Reference Toolset (ART) algorithm. These data are a subset of all the environmetal raster covariate data used in the ART algorithm. Users are advised to read the mansuscript, associated with these data and identified as the larger work citation. It is recommended that data users contact the data set author if they have any questions about the development, processing, contribution, and use of these data in the Automated Reference Toolset.
