Time series electromagnetic induction-log (TSEMIL) datasets are collected from PVC cased or uncased monitoring wells to evaluate changes in water conductivity over time. TSEMIL datasets consist of a series of individual electromagnetic induction logs collected at a frequency of months or years that have been compiled into a dataset by eliminating small uniform offsets in bulk conductivity between logs likely caused by minor variations in calibration. At depths where water conductivity is not changing through time, each log is typically within about ±15 mS/m of the median of the dataset at any given depth, which is within the stated repeatability specifications of the probe (Mount Sopris Instrument Co., Inc., 2002)....

This collection houses well logs and construction data for water wells, exploration holes, gas storage structures, geotechnical borings, etc. The collection includes but is not limited to: drilling logs, down-hole geophysical logs, and striplogs (lithologic and stratigraphic logs produced by the IGS). This collection represents data from paper files that complement our cuttings/core collections. Together, they comprise much of the basic, raw geologic data for the state.

This collection includes well log records. Files include well logs, permit information, and completion reports. Some files include e-logs for registered oil and gas wells. About 30% of wells are in a more complete database with formation tops, types of logs available, and test information.

This collection includes materials associated with oil and gas wells that have been scanned, and are in electronic form. This collection includes scanned well log files. Files are in TIFF format for each of the logs acquired from oil or gas wells in the state of Arizona.

The Kansas Geological Survey maintains the state's archive of oil and gas well completion forms and other well info, such as drill-stem tests and drillers logs. These are primarily available as paper records. Many have been scanned, and all new forms are submitted electronically to the Kansas Corporation Commission and archived by the Kansas Geological Survey.

This collection includes records for all known non-water wells in Indiana. This collection is housed at the Indiana Geological Survey. Some County Strat Test (CST) wells are pretty shallow boreholes located within the state. Most are related to petroleum exploration and development efforts. Data includes completion reports, scout tickets, geophysical logs, sample descriptions and test results. Some records include small-scale geophysical and colored driller's logs. 9"x12" manila envelopes in 85 5-drawer file cabinets. Folders include paper, fiche, and copies of digital information.

Collection includes tens of thousands of well logs drived for oil and gas, geothermal, and geotechnical evaluations. Well logs are in in paper form and are being organized and digitized by the Washington Geological Survey.

Collection of well logs has been acquired over time from project materials, and includes donations from various companies as well as duplicate logs from the Department of Natural Resources. Significant numbers of water well logs are included in the collection (approximately 20% of the collection). This collection is not yet inventoried. Please contact the Louisiana Geological Survey to discuss access to the collection.

The geophysical log collection consists of the various logs run on scientific coreholes, water, injection, oil and gas, observation and monitor wells throughout the state. The collection represents approximately 5320 boreholes, some of which are also represented in the core and well cuttings sample collection. The physical geophysical log collection is currently stored in four file cabinets, organized by county. These paper logs are long, continuous, accordion sheets. Some of the logs are printed on delicate onion skin paper; many others are on thermal paper. Old thermal paper tends to turn black or lose contrast, and many of the documents in the collection are fading or faded. The logs include the following types:...

Collection includes drillers' logs, geologists' logs, engineers' logs. This collection has not yet been inventoried and cataloged. Please contact the Delaware Geological Survey to inquire about this collection.

Collection includes digital logs (lithology type, drill rate, gas chromatographs) from oil, gas, and mineral wells collected by the Michigan Geological Survey and archived at the Michigan Geological Repository for Research and Education, Department of Geosciences, Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo Michigan.

This collection consists of water well drill logs, mostly of water wells drilled in Idaho's large Miocene or younger lava fields. Water well drill logs. Scanning these logs, locating them against appropriate base maps, and publishing the resulting data set to the web would allow many more users to access this information.

The collection of 50,000 paper well logs, dating back to the 1960's, represents three generations of well schedules; the original version (1966) contained uncoded information about a well and a brief lithology and a hand-drawn location map, and data has been electronically recorded, excluding the lithology description; the next version (1977) became the GWSI data file, and was designed using codes with an accompanying explanation and only the coded lithology information has been stored electronically and not the lithologic descriptions; the third version (1987) is more user friendly than earlier versions. This collection of well logs (well schedules) that contain lithology information or lithology logs, is stored...

The County Well Index database was initiated by MGS, and is now a collaborative effort of MGS and the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH). Much effort is committed to compile, add value, and distribute data from drilling done mostly by well contractors across the state. The MGS role is in categorization and correlation of materials intersected by drilling, as MDH administers well regulation. This GIS-based system contains basic information for over 435,000 wells drilled in Minnesota, and single-copy paper records are on file for about 100,000 additional sites. The entire well record including construction information such as casing, screen and pump information, hydrologic data, and descriptions of geologic materials...
