Hyperspectral image data from the Deschutes River near Bend, OR, were acquired on July 26, 2016 to support research on remote sensing of rivers, particularly retrieval of water depth, and to facilitate efforts to characterize habitat for amphibians, primarily the Oregon Spotted Frog (Rana pretiosa). These data were collected by the Compact Airborne Spectrographic Imager (CASI) 1500H manufactured by ITRES Research Limited. The contractor Quantum Spatial Inc. conducted the flight and ITRES performed the initial radiometric and geometric data processing.
