Conservation Opportunity Areas were developed for the Comprehensive Wildlife Conservation Strategy to help identify priority areas for conservation actions that directly benefit wildlife and habitats. These are areas in which conservation actions would best meet the needs of Strategy species and habitats. These areas are generally either areas of high biodiversity or areas with unique habitat values. The data set is also published in the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife's data portal, here:https://nrimp.dfw.state.or.us/DataClearinghouse/default.aspx?p=202&XMLname=897.xml
