This model was based upon expert review, known habitat and known locations of the species. The model can be linked or joined via the "Seg_ID" to the streams layer used in this project. Using the "present" field, the predicted presence locations of the paddlefish can be shown for every stream segment in the known range of the species within the study area. These data are provided by Bureau of Land Management (BLM) "as is" and may contain errors or omissions. This model was developed using the boosted regression tree technique. The model was fitted using R version 2.14.0. The model can be linked or joined to the streams layer used in this project. Using the "prob" field, the predicted probability of occurrence of the pearl dace can be shown for every stream segment in the known range of the species within the study area. This data set is comprised of a potential distribution model for the swift fox within the Northwestern Plains Ecoregion. Observations used in maxent were from 1990 - present and any record related to road kill was removed to remove associations with roads. This layer was processed to remove open water and cultivated lands from the maxent output. It was reclassified to combine the maxent output for the low, moderate and optimal thresholds into one class (1). These data are provided by Bureau of Land Management (BLM) "as is" and may contain errors or omissions. The User assumes the entire risk associated with its use of these data and bears all responsibility in determining whether these data are fit for the User's...
This dataset presents current and future change agent models and combined future potential for change (PFC) within big game seasonal ranges. The big game seasonal ranges extent was determined by aggregating datasets on seasonal ranges of several big game species (Elk, Mule Deer, Pronghorn, and Bighorn Sheep). Seasonal ranges include winter, crucial winter, crucial summer, and parturition areas. Data were obtained from state natural resource agencies (Colorado Parks and Wildlife) and the BLM.This dataset presents current and future change agent models and combined future potential for climate change (PFC). Potential for change (PFC) was determined by calculating the maximum potential for change among all change agents...

GunnSageGrouseWinterRange is an ESRI SDE Feature Class showing observed winter range of Gunnisons Sage-Grouse. This information was derived from field personnel. A variety of data capture techniques were used including drawing on mylar overlays at 1:50,000 scale USGS county mapsheets and implementation of the SmartBoard Interactive Whiteboard using stand-up, real-time digitizing at various scales (Cowardin, M., M. Flenner. March 2003. Maximizing Mapping Resources. GeoWorld 16(3):32-35). Dataset was acquired from a third party distributor who obtained it from CDOW in January 2011. The authoritative data source is available on ArcGIS.com (http://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=1bab23cd9f274742ae1e38afa6e6c44f) and...
This data set is comprised of a potential distribution model for the Grassland Bird Assemblage within the Northwestern Plains Ecoregion. Observations used in maxent were from 1990 - present and during the months of May - September (birds only). The assemblage includes Baird's sparrow, chestnut-collared longspur, McCown's longspur, Sprague's Pipit and one non bird species, swift fox. Observations for swiftfox related to road kill were removed from the observations. The moderate and optimal maxent model threshold for WYNDD was extracted for each species in the assemblage and overlaid to show where multiple species values overlap. 1 = one species, 5 = all 5 species optimal habitat overlapping.

This map contains:Aquatic Intactness results for the State of Utah and the Colorado Plateau Ecoregion, HUC6/12-Digit HUC resolution.Aquatic Species Intactness results clipped to 22 different species' distributions, showing the AI status/condition for each of these species of interest in Utah and the COP. An experimental Aquatic Intactness model for the Escalante subregion, which tests a methodology to incorporate detailed/specialized datasets available for only a portion of the study site into the model without penalizing no-data areas in the final intactness score. The Escalante experimental model utilizes two additional themes: riparian vegetation conversion and grazing impact. Unfortunately Grand Staircase National...

GrSageGrouseSevereWinterRange is an ESRI SDE Feature Class showing coverage for severe winter range for Sage Grouse (Centrocercus urophasianus). Severe Winter Range is defined as that part of the winter range where 90% of the individuals are located when annual snowpack is at its maximum and/or temperatures are at a minimum in the two worst winters out of ten.
