A key input for probabilistic seismic hazard analysis (PSHA) is geologic slip rate data. Here, we compile all geologic slip rates that are reportedly used in U.S. National Seismic Hazard Map (NSHM) releases from 1996, 2002, 2007, 2008, and 2014. Although a new NSHM was released in 2018, no changes were made in geologic slip rate data used. The geologic slip rates are collated from existing NSHM reports and documentation, and no new data are reported herein. The geologic slip rates are coupled with the fault geometries used in NSHM2014/2018 calculations. The data are presented spatially as a shapefile (SHP), in keyhole markup language (KML) and geoJSON. A readme file accompanies this dataset explaining details of...

Version 2.0 is now available. Please see new data release here: https://doi.org/10.5066/P9AB0TA7. A key input for probabilistic seismic hazard analysis (PSHA) is geologic slip rate data. Yet, no single database exists to house all geologic slip rate data used in these calculations. The geologic slip rates are coupled with the most up-to-date fault...

This is a line coverage of the geologic structural features within the Kaiparowits Plateau. Structural features include synclines, anticlines, folds and faults; and are shown in Hettinger and others, chap. T. Faults and fold axes are located along the Earth's surface. This does not imply where they are located in the subsurface.

This ArcView shapefile contains a line representation of the major faults in the Hanna and Carbon Basin areas. The shapefile is part of the National Coal resource Assessment in the Northern Rocky Mountains and Great Plains Region. This shapefile can be shown in relation to other relevant themes of the area.

This ArcView shapefile contains a line representation of faults in a portion of the the Green River Basin. The fault data are part of the National Coal Resource Assessment of the Northern Rocky Mountain and Great Plains Fort Union Coal Resources Assessment Area. The faults can be shown in relation to other relevant themes of the Green River Basin.
This dataset describes faults and structural features of the Caribbean region (Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Martinique, Mexico, Montserrat, Netherlands Antilles, Nicaragua, Panama, Puerto Rico, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, Turks and Caicos Islands, United States, Venezuela, and the Virgin Islands (named countries may not be completely shown on map)).
